Lenten Retreat Day 15: The Christ of the Apocalypse: Talk 7 & 8

TALK 7: THE FOURTH FACE: THE FAITHFUL TRANSFORMED BY GOD’S GRACE St. John [the evangelist] shows us how the story of the arrival of a new heaven and a new earth is not complete without a vision of paradise regained for the human person, created in the image and likeness of our God, who is in the process of “making all things new.” TALK 8: THE PROMISES TO THE VICTORS It is through our faithfulness to the values of the Gospel and to the life of holiness that we can be transformed into a spiritual temple; and that through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit the light of Christ Himself will shine through us into the darkness of this passing world.
