The eyes of the world are on Detroit (ft. Simon Moss, Global Citizen)

Detroit's a special city to the world, from Motown, to motors, to techno, and more. But what about the city of today and tomorrow? What about making sure those making ideas happen in Detroit have the support and resources they need to go to the next level, sustainably?

I had a compelling conversation with Simon Moss, the co-founder of Global Citizen. The Global Citizen Now conference is coming to town next week at Hudson's Detroit, bringing together leaders from business, government, media, philanthropy, nonprofits, and culture to explore what it takes to build inclusive, sustainable cities.

Four key areas of focus are economic equity, talent development, climate resilience, and community impact.
