The Levites

The Levites were set apart to serve God's people through worship and teaching, receiving cities rather than a territorial inheritance. Their role points to the New Covenant reality that all believers are priests through Christ, while ordained ministers remain essential for faithfully teaching God's Word and should be supported by the church. In this sermon, Christians are called to value faithful ministry, support those who teach God's Word, and rejoice in Christ, who bore the curse of the law to bring blessing to all who believe.
