The Trinity Alps Giant Salamander: Justin's new obsession S. 1 Ep. 39

This week we take a long hike in the Trinity Alps of California, and we look for these crocodile sized salamanders in these crystal-clear mountain lakes and streams. We talk about their first set of sightings, and everyone who has researched this abnormally large amphibian from a priest to a group of college professors to the famous Tom Slick. We talk about the behaviors and where some predecessors may have gone wrong in looking for this creature. Let's take a dive into the streams of how the giant salamanders of the world may or may not be related including the Giant Pacific Salamander.
