Crimeworld Extra - The Ridouan Taghi Trial

THE trial of violent Dutch-Moroccan gangster Ridouan Taghi, whose merger with Daniel Kinahan’s mob, the Italian mafia and Eastern European gangs formed a feared super cartel, is finally underway in the Netherlands

Amid some of the tightest security controls ever seen, Taghi's high-profile ‘Marengo’ trial is expected to expose the underbelly of Europe’s top mobs.

In a special Crime World Extra, journalist Jan Meeus describes the military-style operation that has been put in place to secure the Dutch courthouse known as 'The Bunker' and the case against one of the world's most-wanted criminals.
