Night Watch: The Night North Port Will Never Forget: Robbie and Jennifer Tower

North Port, Florida is the kind of place where nothing out of the ordinary is supposed to happen. But one night on a quiet residential street, a family built on faith, service, and second chances was torn apart. In this episode of Night Watch, Katie Ring examines the murders of Robbie and Jennifer Tower — a couple known in their community for opening their home and their hearts. We trace the family’s decision to adopt a teenage boy from Ukraine, the years of struggle that followed, and the night everything turned violent. From the frantic 911 call to the hours-long manhunt and the courtroom testimony that sealed his fate, this case raises difficult questions about trust, trauma, and how good intentions can collide with devastating outcomes.
