Why Conservatives Need an INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT or Face Annihilation in 2028 |10|30|26
The American Right faces a fundamental political dilemma: It cannot continue defending Donald Trump's baggage, the Republican establishment, and the special interests that have helped create America's economic problems while expecting a different electoral outcome. And simply anointing JD Vance as the next Republican presidential nominee won't solve the problem. I analyze JD’s town hall with voters to show why he is not up for the task, nor could he win because of the Trump baggage trap. From inflation and housing affordability to corporate monopolies, Big Tech, data centers, government corruption, health care, and the influence of special interests, conservatives need an economic and political message that transcends traditional party loyalties. But what would that movement actually look like? I’m joined by Rebecca Bextel, Constitution Party candidate for Wyoming governor, to examine Wyoming as a real-world case study. A lifelong Republican activist who broke with her party to challenge the Republican nominee (who is basically a Democrat), Bextel explains why she believes Wyoming voters deserve something beyond business-as-usual Republican politics. The message for the Right is clear: Reform or die! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
