The GOP Hamster Wheel and the Lie of the 'Lesser of Two Evils' | 9/23/26
Conservatives are constantly told the same thing: Stay on the GOP hamster wheel, vote Republican, and whatever you do, don’t challenge the system — because otherwise the Democrats will win. But what if that entire argument is a false construct? I explain in great detail how we are NOT trapped in a permanent two-party choice and why the movement already has tools capable of forcing real change — including political conventions, alternative ballot lines, and strategically supporting candidates outside the traditional Republican machinery. And this isn't just theoretical. South Dakota provides a real-world example of how conventions can defeat establishment incumbents that survive Republican primaries. I also revisit the 2009 New York special election involving Doug Hoffman to show how conservative media and political organizations once had the willingness to rally behind a candidate outside the establishment Republican structure. The question isn't whether conservatives have options; it’s whether we have leaders. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
