Ep 483 | Border Expert: Our Government Is Clueless About the Border and Cartels

Get ready for the best border briefing you’ve ever heard. We are joined by Jaeson Jones, a retired captain with the Texas Department of Safety's intelligence and counterterrorism division who managed Texas’ Border Security Operations Center (BSOC). He gives it to us straight on how our government intel agencies are failing to even focus on the cartels, much less treat their threat with the seriousness it deserves. Jones also calls out the acting administrator at the DEA for being clueless on what the cartels are doing and refusing to designate them as terrorists. The refusal to even document and trace transnational crime in this country is what is leading the government to ignore the 800-pound gorilla in the room.
