Watson Stays Positive After Rough Start | Cleveland Browns News

The Cleveland Browns’ NFL season opener ended in disaster as they fell hard to the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Deshaun Watson throwing an early interception and fumbling a critical ball. Despite the crushing loss — and mounting fan pressure for a QB change — Watson vows to stay positive, crediting his teammates and embracing adversity. His stats (205 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) look decent on paper, but much of his yardage came late against backups, and he faced constant pressure, including a strip-sack. Watson insists he’ll keep smiling, pushing through challenges, and staying focused on turning things around — because, as he says, adversity is inevitable, and resilience is the only path forward.
