The Browns’ 2026 QB battle came down to Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson — and Monken chose Watson, a decision that got brutally tested in the season opener. But Monken’s not backing down — he’s sticking with Watson, emphasizing team-wide execution over individual heroics. Expect a tougher test against Tampa Bay, but for now, the coach’s message is clear: consistency, not one big game, will decide the future of this offense.
