Watson’s Rough Return and Coach’s Stance | Cleveland Browns News

Deshaun Watson’s shaky return to the field left fans and analysts divided — just 11 completions, 100 yards, an interception, and a late TD in a 34-10 loss. Yet head coach Todd Monken is standing by him, blaming the whole team for the collapse. Watson, unfazed, calls media criticism “noise,” insisting he’s focused on wins over stats. His recent feud with Browns fans adds fuel to the fire — though he later apologized. With a tough road game against Tampa looming, and a home opener against Carolina next, the Browns’ QB situation remains one of the NFL’s most watched storylines.
