Watson's Return Falls Short | Cleveland Browns News

Deshaun Watson made his long-awaited return to the field for the Browns, but it wasn’t the comeback fans hoped for—Cleveland fell flat against Jacksonville, 34-10. Watson’s stats looked decent on paper (16/22, 205 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 97.7 QB rating), but most came in garbage time after the Jaguars had already pulled their starters. His lone touchdown—a 46-yarder to rookie Denzel Boston—was a bright spot, but came too late to matter. Watson admitted it wasn’t his best game, acknowledging the steep climb back from injury and the reality that scoring points is the only thing that matters. With a tough road game against Tampa Bay looming, the Browns—and Watson—know there’s work to be done.
