Watson Returns But Struggles in Debut | Cleveland Browns News

Deshaun Watson stays under center for the Browns’ trip to Tampa, making his first regular-season start in nearly two years after a brutal 34-10 loss to Jacksonville. Despite completing 16 of 22 passes with a TD and INT, his return was marred by rust, early turnovers, and a game that slipped away early. Still, coaches trust his pre-snap command and play-clock management — skills they say were lacking even before the game got out of hand. With just 20 starts in 69 games since joining Cleveland, Watson’s road to consistency is long, but the team’s faith in him remains firm as they aim to regroup and find their footing.
