Watson Returns But Browns Fall Flat | Cleveland Browns News

Deshaun Watson made his long-awaited return under center for the Browns, but it wasn’t the triumphant homecoming fans hoped for—Cleveland fell flat in a 34-10 loss to Jacksonville. Watson’s stats looked decent on paper (16/22, 205 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 97.7 rating), but most came late when the Jaguars had already pulled starters. His early struggles and a costly interception showed the team still adjusting. Watson stayed humble, crediting his teammates and acknowledging the game’s harsh realities. With a tough road trip to Tampa Bay looming next Sunday, he’ll need to find his rhythm fast—or risk another disappointing outing.
