Watson Returns, Browns Fall Hard | Cleveland Browns News

Deshaun Watson made his return to the field for the Browns, but it was a brutal one—his first game since 2024 ended in a 34-10 loss after throwing an interception on his first drive. He finished with 205 yards and one late touchdown, but the offense barely scored and looked shaky throughout. Despite the mess, coach Todd Monken still backs him as the best option to win. The defense collapsed, giving Trevor Lawrence four TDs, and key players underperformed. Even worse, the coach kicked a field goal down 31-0—a move that felt like a betrayal to fans. Now, they head to Tampa to face Baker Mayfield, who’ll likely be fired up—and maybe even get some unexpected cheers from the stands.
