Titans Lose Practice Squad CB to Browns

In a surprising turn of events, the Cleveland Browns have signed cornerback Sam Webb from the Tennessee Titans practice squad. Webb, a six-foot-one, one-hundred-ninety-four-pound cornerback, has played in twenty-eight NFL games, accumulating thirty-six tackles, three passes defensed, and one forced fumble. He was initially signed by the Titans in August and had not been elevated to their active roster. This move by the Browns is a common practice in the NFL, where teams often look to other clubs practice squads to fill immediate needs or add depth. DNN | The Daily News Now!
