Shedeur Sanders Returns as Browns' Backup QB

Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is set to return as the Cleveland Browns backup, marking a significant step in his journey towards a potential starting role. Sanders, a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, has been working his way up the depth chart, outlasting several other quarterbacks. He will be behind fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, who has had a mixed performance with a one-and-three record in four starts. Sanders future as a potential first-round pick could be on the line if the Browns continue their losing ways. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
