Schwesinger Leads NFL Rookie Defense

Carson Schwesinger, Cleveland Browns rookie linebacker, is now the leading candidate for the NFLs Defensive Rookie of the Year award. After a standout performance against the New York Jets, Schwesinger surpasses Abdul Carter, a New York Giants edge rusher, in the race. With seventy-four tackles, six tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, one and a half sacks, one interception, and one pass deflection this season, Schwesingers veteran-like instincts and versatility have been a highlight for the Browns defense. His consistent high-level play promises a promising future for the team. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered. Hosted on Acast.
