Sanders Set to Start for Browns in Las Vegas

Shedeur Sanders Makes NFL Debut as Browns QB, Bailey Zappe Backs Him UpThe Cleveland Browns are making a significant change at quarterback for their Week Twelve matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Shedeur Sanders is set to make his first NFL start, stepping in after Dillon Gabriel entered concussion protocol. Sanders had a challenging debut last week against the Baltimore Ravens, completing four of sixteen passes for forty-seven yards, throwing one interception, and being sacked twice. Despite the rough start, the team is giving him the nod to lead the offense this Sunday. To back up Sanders, the Browns have activated former New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe from their practice squad. Zappe has some NFL experience, including nine career starts, and even had one start with the Browns earlier this year. His presence provides a safety net for the team as Sanders takes the reins.
