Sanders' NFL Debut: Low Rating, High Controversy

Shedeur Sanders, the former Colorado Buffaloes star, had a challenging NFL debut, completing only four of sixteen passes for forty-seven yards and a low quarterback rating of thirteen point five. He acknowledged the need to improve his chemistry with teammates, particularly wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Sanders mother, Pilar, expressed concerns on Instagram, suggesting his poor performance was due to lack of practice reps. Her comments sparked controversy, with some accusing her of embarrassing her son and interfering with team dynamics. Despite the difficult debut and controversy, Sanders remains confident in his abilities. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered.
