NFL Coach Accused of Sabotaging Rookie QB's Debut

Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton and longtime NFL insider Josina Anderson allege that Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski intentionally set rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders up for failure in his NFL debut. Sanders, who completed only four of sixteen passes for forty-seven yards, received no practice reps with the first-team offense and was throwing to many of his teammates for the first time during the game. Sanders mother, Pilar Sanders, and veteran offensive lineman Wyatt Teller also expressed concerns about his lack of preparation. With the teams starting quarterback still in concussion protocols, Sanders may get another chance to play, raising questions about team preparation and support for young players.
