Greg Newsome II's Giants Struggles | Cleveland Browns News

From Cleveland Browns News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now! The Daily News Now!

Greg Newsome II’s latest Giants outing showed flashes but raised eyebrows—just one catch allowed for eight yards while shadowing George Pickens, yet he also got flagged for a costly 39-yard pass interference and earned a low PFF grade. His decline since his Browns days is clear: traded to Jacksonville without a new deal, his best work came inside as a nickel corner. With Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell now anchoring Cleveland’s defense, and Newsome struggling against elite receivers in Jacksonville, the Giants’ faith in him as an outside starter feels shaky. Fans should watch closely as the season unfolds.
