DePodesta Leaves Browns for Rockies

Paul DePodesta, the Cleveland Browns Chief Strategy Officer, is leaving for the Colorado Rockies head of baseball operations. Despite his two-decade baseball background and successful stint with the Browns, the teams struggles, including a two-and-six record, may have influenced his decision. DePodesta joined the Browns in 2016, leading the search for current coach Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry. His role aimed to strengthen the organization, but the Browns fifty-five wins, ninety-nine losses, and one tie record, including a winless season, might have contributed to his departure. The Rockies recent GM departure and DePodestas baseball roots could be the driving factors behind this move. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
