Browns Trade Up for QB Mendoza

The Cleveland Browns, with two first-round draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, are poised to address their long-standing quarterback issue. General Manager Andrew Berry secured these picks through a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Browns, currently holding the number five overall selection, could potentially trade up to the number one spot to draft Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, as suggested by a recent mock draft from Dane Brugler at The Athletic. This move would address the teams critical need at quarterback but would require sacrificing the opportunity to add another high-caliber player with their second first-round pick.
