Browns Trade Tryon-Shoyinka, Eyeing Free Agent Additions

The Cleveland Browns have made a strategic move, trading defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka for draft picks, giving them a total of eighteen selections over the next two drafts. While other teams like the New York Jets are making significant roster changes, the Browns are focusing on evaluating their offensive struggles and potentially bringing in a new play caller. The trade and release of safety Damontae Kazee have created two open spots on the roster, with wide receiver Cedric Tillman expected to return from injured reserve. The Browns have several options to fill the second spot, including promoting a practice squad player or signing a veteran free agent such as DJ Chark, KJ Osborn, La’El Collins, Andre Dillard, DeMarcus Walker, Christian Wilkins, Josey Jewell, Asante Samuel Junior, or Justin Simmons.
