Browns' QB Future: Mendoza Mocked to Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns quarterback situation has sparked draft speculation, with Nick Baumgardner from The Athletic projecting a first-round quarterback pick in the 2026 draft. The team might not see Shedeur Sanders as their long-term solution, potentially selecting Fernando Mendoza, a highly-regarded quarterback from the University of Indiana, with the eighth overall pick. Mendozas impressive stats, including a 73% completion rate, 2,641 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions, make him a strong prospect for the Browns. If available, Mendoza could become the teams franchise quarterback, signaling a clear direction for their future. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
