Browns QB Depth Chart Drama | Cleveland Browns News

Cleveland Browns stick with Shedeur Sanders as their No. 2 QB for Sunday’s opener, sidelining rookie Taylen Green—despite his blazing 4.36 speed and potential for trick plays—due to logistical headaches of dressing three quarterbacks. Green, a sixth-round pick with big-play upside, remains the emergency third option, unable to unleash his game-changing talents unless Watson and Sanders are both sidelined. With Deshaun Watson locked in by his massive $230M contract, the Browns’ QB room is crowded: Sanders, Green, and injured Dillon Gabriel form the current depth chart, with future decisions likely hinging on the draft. Monken faces a tough call balancing talent and reliability as the team heads into Week 1 against the Jaguars.
