Browns’ Backup Backs & Local Hope | Cleveland Browns News

The Browns are building a balanced offense around two promising young backs, Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson, while adding Jaleel McLaughlin to the practice squad as insurance. McLaughlin, a quick, agile runner with over 900 rushing yards and 55 receptions in his first two seasons, brings valuable versatility — especially as a short-yardage threat and after-the-catch weapon — despite his smaller frame. Though unlikely to start, his local ties and underdog story make him a fan favorite if he gets a chance to play. The Browns’ move is smart depth-building — and could be fun if McLaughlin steps up.
