Browns Activate Deshaun Watson, Eyeing Trade

The Cleveland Browns have activated quarterback Deshaun Watson from the physically unable to perform list, giving them twenty-one days to decide if hell return to the active roster or remain on the list. Watson, recovering from an Achilles injury, hasnt played this season. The Browns, with a three-and-nine record, have no competitive reason to rush Watson back, but a strong financial incentive to trade him before June first next year to avoid an eighty-five million dollar dead cap hit. Putting him on the field for a few games could boost his trade value and help the Browns recoup some of their investment. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
