Court Rules Against Save Vancouver Streets Initiative

Washington's Court of Appeals sided with the city of Vancouver, ruling that the Save Vancouver Streets initiative was an administrative function and could not be imposed through the local initiative process. More than 6,500 residents had signed the petition seeking a public vote before any vehicle traffic lane could be removed.
