Clark County Today Sports Podcast, Episode 3: Mat Classic notes and more

Here is Episode 3 of the Clark County Today Sports Podcast. This week, we welcome our first guest. In preparation for Mat Classic, we talk to the greatest wrestling coach in Union High School history, John Godinho. (Yes, he is the only wrestling coach in school history, but still, he’s pretty great.) This episode, reporter Paul Valencia, along with sports administrators Cale Piland of Evergreen Public Schools and Tony Liberatorre of Vancouver Public Schools talk Mat Classic wrestling, all-league and the controversy surrounding all-league selections, the shot clock in high school basketball, some Super Bowl gloating for some, and mourning for another, and we talk about passionate sports projects. Our friend and baseball nerd John Scukanec was featured in Clark County Today this week for his quest to play catch with someone for 365 days in a row. Hope you enjoy the podcast. We are always open for subject ideas.
