Kilrush RNLI is urging extreme caution if visiting the county's coasts this Bank Holiday weekend. With the effects of Storm Boelo hitting the country over the coming days, those visiting the coast are advised to constantly check weather updates before setting off. People are also encouraged to remain well back from cliff edges and to be aware of the risk of being cut off by incoming tides. Kilrush RNLI Volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer, Charlie Glynn, says areas traditionally safe to stand on may not be secure in the aftermath of heavy rain.
