It's hoped a new influx of funding for Clare's Local Community Safety Partnership will help tackle antisocial behaviour in four Clare towns. Almost €100,000 has been awarded to the Clare LCSP, funded through money and assets seized by Gardaí and the Criminal Assets Bureau. €71,250 will go towards the Building Safer Communities in Clare programme, which aims to tackle the root causes of crime in Tulla, Ennis, Kilrush and Shannon. Clare LCSP Chair PJ Ryan says it will help stamp out issues before they escalate.
