Concerns Raised Over Grass Cutting Schedule And Condition Of Burial Plots At Drumcliffe Cemetery

A local councillor has raised concerns about the condition of Drumcliffe Cemetery following the recent cemetery blessing, where a number of gravestones were left covered in grass cuttings and dirt on the day families gathered to remember their loved ones. Mayor of Ennis and Clarecastle Sinn Féin Councillor, Tommy Guilfoyle has expressed his disappointment following an experience relayed by a listener on social media, particularly in the St Bridget's section of the cemetery. He's calling for greater attention to the timing and standard of cemetery maintenance. Alan Morrissey has been speaking with Councillor Guilfoyle about this. Photo (c) Clare FM
