Clare Libraries Announces Children's Book Festival 2026 Programme

It’s all about encouraging young imaginations this October as Clare Libraries launches its 2026 Children’s Book Festival. Libraries and schools across the county will welcome some of Ireland’s best-known children’s authors, storytellers, illustrators and performers, with a packed programme designed to inspire children and encourage a lifelong love of reading. Joining Alan Morrissey to tell us more about this year’s festival was Niamh O'Donovan, Senior Executive Librarian. Photo (c) FatCamera from Getty Images Signature via Canva
