Alan Morrissey was joined by Laura McAuliffe, a Clare resident who, alongside her husband Emmet, has been sharing their deeply personal fertility journey as part of RTÉ Investigates: Fertility Uncovered, an RTÉ Investigates report examining the experiences of couples seeking IVF in Ireland. After an ectopic pregnancy resulted in Laura losing both fallopian tubes, IVF became their only route to parenthood.
