Chicago Bulls DON’T sign Josh Giddey to extension…what happens now? | CHGO Bulls Podcast

The CHGO Bulls crew discuss the consequences of the Chicago Bulls not signing Josh Giddey to a rookie contract extension by Monday’s deadline. With Giddey’s representatives unable to come to terms on a deal with Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley, how are the stakes for the upcoming season elevated? What are some reasonable or comparable contracts of other players in Giddey’s tier in the NBA? How could different ranges of a new Giddey contract next summer impact the team’s cap flexibility and larger plans? Matt Peck, Big Dave and Will Gottlieb break it all down. Plus, the guys react to Talen Horton-Tucker earning the Bulls’ final roster spot and rookie Matas Buzelis signing with Reebok.
