It's Murder

📻 Cat81 Radio – Show Notes

Title: It’s Murder
Speaker: James Merritt

🔹 Episode Overview
In this sobering and direct message, James Merritt confronts the deeper meaning behind the commandment, “You shall not murder.” Going beyond the physical act, he explains how anger, hatred, and bitterness in the heart are spiritually destructive. Jesus teaches that the root of murder begins internally—and must be dealt with before it grows.

💡 Core Themes

• Murder Begins in the Heart
Unchecked anger and resentment can lead to spiritual damage long before any outward action.
• The Danger of Bitterness
Holding onto offense poisons your spirit and affects your relationship with others—and with God.
• Jesus Raises the Standard
It’s not just about what you do, but what you think and feel.
• Choose Reconciliation
God calls us to forgive, restore relationships, and walk in love.
