She holds a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Miami, Florida, a master of science with a specialty as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. During her post-doctoral training, she obtained a master’s in psychiatric epidemiology from Washington University in St. Louis. This insightful conversation took us down memory lane. I first met Dawn at our HighSchool Youth Group New Life, in Miami Florida. Dawn is insightful, passionate, and has strong convictions, just like me.
