Cardinals Cover 2 - The Fight Was There, The Win Was Not

Ep. 680 - Give the Cardinals credit. Down 18 in the first half, the team pulled to within one score late in the third quarter. The 49ers, though, just had too much talent on the field and pulled away for a 35-16 win in San Francisco. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi look back at Sunday’s game; how encouraged both are despite the outcome and a defense missing so many players. At 1-3, the Cardinals appear headed in the right direction, and that is no more evident than the early performances by rookie wide receiver Michael Wilson, who earned Calvisi’s weekly Angry Bird Award. Also discussed, Zach Ertz’s targets; Ezekiel Turner’s first start of the season; and why players are looking forward to the rematch against the 49ers in December.
