In the name of capitalizing on the recent March Madness tournament, Ray is recommending the 1994 HOOP DREAMS! This facsinating documentary looks at two rising freshman basketball players as they pursue their dream of one day joining the NBA. When both are accepted to a prestigious private high school, the sky appears to be the limit. However, unforseen circumstances force both Arthur and William onto diverging paths that threaten to derail their furture prospects. Dissecting racial, economic, and social strife, HOOP DREAMS looks at the roots of a dream and the adveristy each of us face in the pursuit of success.
