Hello Movies, My Old Friend: Episode 112 - Toy Soldiers

September is going fast, so it's time for a new episode of HELLO MOVIES, MY OLD FRIEND! For today's episode, Ray and Rob revisit the 1991 action thriller TOY SOLDIERS! This coming-of-age classic stars the great Sean Astin (LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY, THE GOONIES) and Wil Wheaton (STAND BY ME, STAR TREK: TNG). TOY SOLDIERS follows a group of rejects at a prestigious private school who must save their school from a band of terrorists who seek to force the release of their leader's father from an American prison.

With a stellar supporting cast that includes Keith Coogan (ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING, DON'T TELL MOM THE BABYSITTER'S DEAD) and Louis Gossett Jr (ENEMY MINE, THE COLOR PURPLE), TOY SOLDIERS explores the idea of brotherhood and the lengths you'll go to protect them.
