2:18 I was thinking about it. 2:19 You guys changed reality television forever 2:23 for over a decade on Real Housewives. 2:27 You're just so fun and chaotic off the cuff. 2:31 And I just, I cannot wait to talk with you guys today. 2:34 We're gonna talk reality TV. 2:35 We're gonna talk toaster ovens. 2:36 We're gonna talk pirates. 2:38 We're gonna get into it all. 2:39 Cabralesque. 2:40 Okay, tell me about the outfits. 2:41 Did you guys clearly didn't get dressed together? 2:43 No, we did not get dressed together. 2:45 And you know, when I was looking at the podcast, 2:47 I think I watched Andy 2:48 and I watched a couple other people on the podcast. 2:50 They were, it was so casual. 2:51 So I was like, you know, 2:52 I'm gonna wear a statement necklace and be comfy 2:54 because I'm flying out tonight. 2:56 And I love that you've dressed for comfort. 2:58 Thank you, Sonia, how did you think of your outfit? 3:01 I just decided I'd wear whatever was on the hotel floor. 3:06 Here I am, fresh as a daisy. 3:10 Okay. 3:10 In sequence, looking fabulous. 3:12 Looking so good and you love a statement necklace 3:14 so we love that for you. 3:16 The ways. 3:17 Okay, your new show, The Golden Life 3:19 is coming out October 20th. 3:21 I think I can speak for everyone when we say, 3:24 thank God, thank God, thank God, you're back. 3:28 Can you tell me a little bit about this cast? 3:30 Because obviously we are getting a lot of OG, 3:33 Rony people back together. 3:35 How did it come to be? 3:38 Well, LuAnne and I have been working on it for a few years 3:40 since we were surprisingly not doing our life story series 3:44 any longer. 3:45 And we were meeting our guests for a series. 3:47 Yeah, the one-offs weren't pulling it, you know? 3:49 So we were always interviewing with different networks 3:53 and it was just timing and the money came together. 3:56 So thank God, but thank E-Network. 3:59 Well, we've got a lot of life left to live. 4:01 I mean, we did 20 years of, you know, the OG cast. 4:05 For the OGs, did you guys have any say in the cast? 4:08 Like, it started with me and Lou, right? 4:11 Let's say that. 4:12 We weren't sure if Ramona would join. 4:15 Timing was very, very good for us with Ramona 4:18 because she was not with her serious boyfriend any longer. 4:22 Oh, and if the serious boyfriend, if they were to get... 4:24 Well, not when the cocktail party's gonna go to, okay? 4:25 Well, Ramona wasn't gonna go on TV if she was still very serious. 4:29 If Ramona was very seriously involved 4:31 with a financier from New York, 4:33 she wasn't really happy to go back on TV. 4:35 But she's in between boyfriends, so she has us. 4:37 Oh, my God, this worked out perfectly. 4:39 How was before bros, babe? 4:40 Well, more maybe because they broke up. 4:42 Yeah, right, right, right. 4:43 Yeah, you're right, it was bro, but don't speak too much. 4:45 It's your fomo. 4:46 Let's put it that way, right? 4:47 And then maybe she's also like dump him for now, film, 4:50 then get back with him. 4:52 I've heard people do that. 4:53 I didn't do that for Love Hotel, so I skipped it. 4:56 Okay, the show kind of follows you in Palm Beach 5:00 and we also have later in the Hamptons. 5:03 Sonia, what is the biggest difference 5:05 between living in Palm Beach and New York? 5:08 Wardrobe. 5:09 Tell me. 5:10 Well, they have men everywhere, right? 5:11 Oh, okay. 5:12 That's not hard for us. 5:14 No, no, I would say wardrobe 5:16 Because in Florida, you wear pink and green and white 5:19 and very summery colors and florals. 5:21 The Hamptons is a little more, it's like street wear. 5:25 It's New York chic. 5:26 But linen, for sure. 5:29 So we're not wearing this obviously in the Hamptons, 5:30 would you wear this in Palm Beach? 5:32 Yes. 5:33 But I wouldn't wear this in the Hamptons. 5:34 You could wear this anywhere drawing for breakfast. 5:35 I mean, look at us. 5:36 Well, sometimes I wake up with this on the next day 5:38 and it will be for breakfast. 5:39 You'll just show up to brunch. 5:40 Yeah. 5:41 OK, that's fair. 5:41 Right into brunch, dinner to brunch. 5:43 You know, listen, Palm Beach, 5:44 and it's like apples and, I don't know, oranges or lemons. 5:50 You said Luanne in the trailer, 5:52 the libido was more active in Palm Beach. 5:55 Explain. 5:57 Well, I think that, you know, 5:59 there's a lot of women looking for men. 6:01 So there's a lot of estrogen going around on the streets. 6:04 So the libido was high and- 6:06 No, I was just thinking about what makes you warmer 6:09 and hornier in Palm Beach is the sun. 6:13 The sun. 6:13 and being outdoors. Okay, explain to me the difference in the Palm Beach men versus the New York men. 6:19 Well, most of the men my age are married, the good ones, and then the younger guys 6:27 all have very wealthy girlfriends or fiancés and they're visiting the girl's family. That's what 6:34 I discovered after I moved there. I don't really go out much on season, so the crowd just 6:40 drive me nuts. Dating, the men are very generous in New York. That's the difference. The men 6:45 in New York, they like to take you out and spend a lot of money. If you're in a retirement 6:48 or semi-retirement mode, so I'm going to have to start going out, Alex, on season 6:53 because that's when the single guys come down, when it's cold. 6:56 I was going to say, what about like the recently divorced? Do we like recently divorced 7:00 men or no? 7:01 Oh, widowed. 7:01 Oh, widowed. Ramona said I should be checking those obituaries. See if any of my friends 7:06 are on there. 7:07 Oh my God, that's literally your version of like Tinder. 7:11 Exactly, much better. 7:12 So much better. 7:13 Because I know their backgrounds. 7:15 You don't know what you're gonna get on Tinder. 7:17 Or the hunger sections of any department store. 7:20 I was starting like that. 7:21 Like they always need a toaster or they always need, 7:23 you know, a toaster. 7:26 A toaster and they're wandering around 7:27 and you can say, hello boys, 7:30 let me show you how to use a toaster. 7:31 Well, as Bethany said, on my dating app, 7:34 I'm a professional toaster oven love and chef. 7:37 And do you think that that is what really gets men going? 7:40 Like they really like that? 7:41 Yes they do Alex, you know you have to feed your man first. 7:45 Once they're fed, there's only one thing they're thinking about. 7:47 Mine likes to cook, so that's- 7:48 You're not that taken for granted. 7:50 I kind of manifested a chef, but I, 7:53 and he is like a self, you know, self-made chef. 7:57 Okay. 7:57 In terms of meaning that he loves to cook. 7:59 And I love that about a man. 8:01 And are you actually a good cook, Sonia? 8:03 Well, I was on, you know, worst cooks, celebrity worst cooks. 8:06 I sat the whole kitchen on fire, as you know. 8:08 So let's pretend you find a man in the obituary section. 8:13 He's ready. He wants to come over. 8:16 What are you cooking him? 8:17 Well, I'll make him filet of soul or rack of lamb. 8:19 I've had the filet of soul. 8:20 And I've cooked for her several times in the toaster. 8:22 The toaster oven. 8:22 And it's okay. 8:23 It was okay. 8:24 Hold on, hold on. 8:25 I just cooked for Cali Benzimone. 8:27 It was so good. 8:27 You're putting a rack of lamb in the toaster oven. 8:31 Did you see Emerald the Chef? 8:32 right after I came out with the toaster 8:34 and I had been talking to Martha Stewart about it 8:37 for a while. 8:38 Next thing, Emeril comes out with the toaster oven, 8:40 you know, demonstrations. 8:41 It's just a great way to live. 8:42 You don't heat up your whole kitchen. 8:44 You don't have to drain your electricity bill. 8:46 You have more time for yourself and your man afterwards. 8:49 And you feel like you're cooking the fish enough 8:51 in the toaster. 8:53 It's thin. 8:54 It's thin. 8:55 The fish cooks in 18 minutes in the toaster. 8:57 Oh, I got to come home for a meal. 8:59 Oh, you'll love it. 8:59 You need to know this as a new mom 9:01 because the kids like to also cook with you. 9:03 Okay, and no one's having any, like, you know, 9:05 diarrhea after everyone's good? 9:07 Not after my cooking, no, but other things, yes. 9:10 She likes my ex la Francaise. 9:12 Oh, yes, very good. 9:13 Last time I came over, she put her caviar on. 9:15 I know. 9:15 She has the new caviar. 9:16 I work on a caviar brand, yes. 9:17 Oh, congratulations. 9:19 That's a booty of you. 9:20 I love that for you. 9:20 You know, why not have caviar and ex la Francaise 9:23 in the morning? 9:24 Why should it be for cocktail parties? 9:25 Let's have it in the morning. 9:26 It's sexy. 9:27 I mean, to have it. 9:27 Alex, you knew what she said. 9:28 What? 9:28 She goes, I just want everyone to be able to afford it. 9:31 It's more affordable. 9:32 I mean, you- 9:33 The 1% that buys caviar is gonna be able to afford it. 9:35 Well, the 1% is a lot. 9:38 That's not discount, the 1%, okay? 9:40 I'm not okay. 9:42 Okay. 9:42 I'm not okay with that. 9:43 I love that for you, that's so bougie. 9:45 It's like, why not have a caviar line 9:47 if you can have a caviar line? 9:48 Like, let's find out. 9:48 So count us. 9:49 Now, I wanna know your guys thoughts 9:51 on the new, new seasons and cast 9:54 of the Real Housewives of New York City. 9:57 Obviously, like have you guys watched it? 9:58 and do you just see it on the news? 10:00 Like what's your relationship? 10:01 I'm not, you know, I catch it here and there 10:03 and listen, I think that we have very big shoes to fill 10:07 and I think they're different women 10:10 and you know, there's room for all of us. 10:12 So, you know, we wish them the best. 10:14 The good answer. 10:15 You were obviously both on Rony with Carol. 10:18 Now she's back. 10:19 Were you surprised? 10:22 Yes, you were. 10:23 I wasn't surprised because of BravoCon. 10:26 I was surprised because when Carol filmed with us, 10:29 she always acted like, you know, she wasn't in 100%. 10:34 She was always like, well, this is a bit beneath me. 10:38 You know, she always gave that air. 10:39 And then when she decided to do that 10:41 after so much time off, I was shocked. 10:43 But I did hear through the grapevine 10:45 that she's been a good addition. 10:47 Okay, so do you think she's 100% in now? 10:49 No, I don't know about that. 10:51 She's friend status, it's called friend status. 10:53 Like I said, I can't remember where I said that, 10:55 but I said, you know, what was she doing before, right? 10:58 She wasn't that busy. 10:59 So she did it like a TikTok or something, which said, 11:04 I'm retired, I'm going fishing. 11:06 And so I texted her and go, how's the fishing going for you? 11:10 She laughs. 11:11 She goes, that was the best shade you've ever thrown me. 11:13 That's actually amazing. 11:14 Okay, speaking of Carol, she was married 11:17 to Anthony Reddwell. 11:19 Did you guys watch Love Story? 11:21 Did you see the show Love Story? 11:23 Okay, did any of you, either of you, ever have any run-ins with, I don't know, JFK Jr. 11:29 back in the day? 11:30 I did not. 11:32 I think Sonya might have. 11:34 I was living in Europe. 11:35 You know, this was before Wi-Fi. 11:36 Everywhere you went, it was just the same group. 11:39 Before Wi-Fi. 11:39 So you go to the park, there's Jon Jon, you go skiing, there's Jon Jon. 11:42 And I used to hang out at the Michael Todd room at the Palladium. 11:48 And so Madonna was there and Jon Jon and so many other people. 11:51 So many other and it was just like this, you know a couch of people 11:54 No one cared if you were famous or you just got in because you were cool and there were no cell phones 12:00 I love that your fame was faint. You know what I mean. It was like this word famous 12:04 We why do you call him John John because he's the he's the junior John John. I say John Jr 12:09 I don't know. I don't know John John. Okay, so you had a little run-ins with Madonna 12:15 You were just you were making your way around seeing the people. Absolutely. I was 14 years old at studio 54 12:20 or with a chaperone. 12:23 Oh, with a chaperone. 12:24 Who was your chaperone? 12:25 My aunt from upstate New York. 12:26 Oh, you went to Cologne. 12:27 She loved all that. 12:28 You know, I was modeling and all that. 12:29 It was fun. 12:30 I love that for you. 12:31 And you know, her daughter, Lourdes, 12:33 comes to my cabaret shows, 12:36 because I know Madonna from Switzerland actually, 12:38 because she was a big friend of Valentino's 12:40 who used to have New Year's Eve parties in Stott. 12:42 So that's where I spent my, the 90s was, 12:45 I was like missing for, I missed a decade in New York. 12:47 So I missed a lot of pub culture from that time. 12:49 That's not a bad thing. 12:50 No, no. 12:51 Do your kids know how cool you are? 12:53 Not really. 12:54 Not really. 12:55 But we start to figure it out when we hear 12:57 about how it is for young people today, 12:59 we start to understand things were so much simpler 13:02 and everywhere you met, you met people 13:04 and you didn't leave until you were ready to leave. 13:07 You didn't go home and listen to your answering machine 13:09 and say, oh gosh, he was at another place. 13:12 Well, we're waiting on phone calls then. 13:14 You know what I mean? 13:15 Remember, it's like, oh, he didn't leave me a voicemail. 13:17 He didn't leave me a voicemail. 13:18 Or you go to the- 13:19 I'm talking at home, you know. 13:19 Or you go to the- 13:20 No cell phones. 13:21 You go to the pay phone and you call 13:23 into your answering machine, 13:24 and then you're like, that's 20 blocks from here. 13:26 I'll take the one I have. 13:27 One in the hand is better than two in the bush. 13:29 Do you two still have a landline? 13:31 No. 13:31 I do not. 13:33 I still have a fax machine, 13:34 which people think is weird. 13:35 They think it's weird. 13:36 They still sell them. 13:37 What do you do with your fax machine? 13:39 Lots of banks, medical offices. 13:42 What's the bank? 13:43 And schools always want you to use a fax. 13:46 But my friends at lunch yesterday 13:48 at the Bel Air. 13:49 You know what they told me? 13:50 They said, you could just do it on your cell phone. 13:52 Yeah, yeah, yeah. 13:52 You can email from your cell phone. 13:54 Like, what schools are you faxing? 13:56 What am I asking you to fax with me? 13:58 Quincy, you know, Quincy, you know, my daughter, 14:00 she only really graduated a short time ago. 14:02 Okay, so you're over there faxing. 14:04 You're a very involved mother. 14:05 I'm a faxing... 14:06 You're a faxing father. 14:08 A faxing father. 14:10 Okay, I am going to play a little game with you guys. 14:12 I'm gonna say a superlative, 14:14 and you're gonna tell us 14:15 which of your golden life cast members 14:17 first fits the bill the most. 14:19 Ready? 14:20 Most likely to show up late to the reservation. 14:24 So now. And you! 14:25 You've been late this whole season as well. 14:27 I think we're tied. And what about Ramona? 14:29 Come on, Ramona's been late. 14:31 She leaves early. 14:32 She thinks she's the queen of Palm Beach. 14:33 Well, I call her late labor. 14:34 Is Ramona the queen of Palm Beach? 14:36 No, she thinks she's the queen. 14:38 There's a difference. 14:39 You're like, sweetie, do not get it twisted. 14:41 Absolutely not. 14:42 Okay, so do we have a queen of Palm Beach 14:45 in our group or no? In our group? 14:46 Not really. 14:47 Okay. 14:48 To quote Luanne again. 14:49 Not really. 14:50 Why are you guys always late? 14:52 To be fair, Ramona has a lovely group of girlfriends 14:57 and they like to socialize. 14:59 Ooh. 15:00 And do you want to be friends with her friends? 15:02 I know a lot of her friends, 15:04 but I really don't like socializing at big parties. 15:06 I'm a reckless. 15:07 But I will, oh my gosh. 15:09 Okay, never mind. 15:09 I just was going to tell you, 15:10 Ramona gets up in the morning, 15:11 she has her breakfast, she goes to tennis, 15:13 then she has, you know, 15:14 Golf. 15:15 Launch, then she goes to golf, 15:16 And then she goes to dinner after dinner a little tet-a-tet. Oh, so she's busy every day. Yeah, that's why she's late 15:23 That's why she's late. Yeah, because we're like not her first choice 15:27 Oh, you're not like you guys kind of are not tier one. How does that make you feel? Well? 15:32 Well, I wouldn't cause not tier one, but she's got a lot of social stops on the way 15:37 So yeah, either she's late or she's early or she I mean she leaves early, okay? 15:42 And she's got many things on her schedule. 15:44 Why are you too late? 15:45 I still get a shift for that. 15:46 I'm just like some monsonia time, you know, I just, 15:49 I always think, oh, five minutes is an hour for me. 15:51 We're respectful about time late. 15:53 I like to get there late and I'll leave a little early 15:56 for large events. 15:57 But when it just does, I'm on time. 15:59 Okay, perfect. 16:00 Okay, who is most likely to never pay you back? 16:04 I think we all pay each other back. 16:06 We never loan anything to each other 16:07 because we know we might not get a bet. 16:09 Okay, that's fair. 16:10 Yeah. 16:10 So you're all comfortable with the money? 16:11 I don't remember owning anyone anything. 16:13 Well, we don't really, you know, production pays. 16:15 Yeah. 16:16 We don't need loans. 16:17 Okay, perfect. 16:18 Who's most likely to take home the bartender? 16:23 Sonya. 16:24 That was a big lead in. 16:25 Or some random city at the bar. 16:27 Well, as long as it's not a bar, I go to regularly because I don't like to burn 16:31 bridges. 16:31 Except I'm in another town. 16:33 Wait, what do you mean burn bridges? 16:35 Well, I don't want to go back to the bar and I already had sex with the bartender. 16:38 Okay. 16:38 That doesn't work. 16:39 That's like sleeping with a Bravo Liberty. I don't know. You might get free drinks. I mean, no, no 16:43 I get free drinks if you put up for the bartender. Maybe you get some free drinks 16:47 No, I get free drinks without sleeping with the bartender because I just want to see how I operate 16:52 Okay, so I see what you're saying like you don't want to be like, oh my god 16:55 I just saw him last night in my bed and now I want to go back here with my friends and I have to see him again 16:59 So maybe if you're going to a different bar that's maybe not your go to out of town on tour 17:05 Oh, honey, I did 46 cities in a year in a month. So I had plenty of opportunities 17:09 and I would say the best was Monterey. 17:11 Oh, was he a barter? 17:13 I love her, she's too busy at the bar 17:15 and I'm like on stage killing myself doing camera. 17:17 He was in the front row with his father 17:19 and she's not the first sister. 17:20 I'm so jealous. 17:22 I'm performing, Sonia and you said, 17:23 he's in the front row with his brother, 17:25 his father's mother and his sister 17:26 and the whole time they were like, 17:28 and so when I had the meet and greet 17:30 they all came to that. 17:31 And I just said, any, me, any, 17:33 mine, because his brother was hot too. 17:34 No, and you're working your ass off 17:36 I'm touring around globally now. 17:39 I mean, I'm doing Australia, England with the Countess Cabaret. 17:42 And so it's Sonia, she got back from what you were in Australia. 17:45 I just got back from Australia. 17:46 So we're touring around the world now, which is crazy. 17:49 Oh, yeah, we are. It's amazing. 17:50 Up next is Ireland and England. 17:52 I got a new song I can't wait for you to hear. 17:54 Oh, my God, give me a little something. 17:55 Give us a rap. Give us a little something. 17:57 Well, OK. 17:59 To all the boys I've loved before 18:03 who traveled in and out my door. 18:05 oh those boys who came along I dedicate this song to all the boys I've loved 18:12 before I'm so excited it's a dance version it's coming out October 9th 18:20 actually she's your biggest height woman I remember when we were watch what 18:24 happens like our first season together on Real Housewives and I was just like 18:28 and you have no idea she's always performing Broadway hits off the cuff 18:32 it's nice to have a friend like that though that's like there's no jealousy 18:35 you're just like, oh my God, I love this work. 18:37 She's very, very good. 18:38 No, we're supportive of each other. 18:39 And listen, I have, you know, I did a video 18:41 while we were filming in Palm Beach for the song. 18:43 So you're going to see all of it coming up 18:45 on the new season of the show. 18:47 Yeah, and you're going to see Sonya perform as well. 18:49 Okay, now back to the rancher. 18:51 Where do you take him after you meet him? 18:54 The Jolly Rancher. 18:54 I have a hotel right next door. 18:55 He's Jolly now. 18:57 Right on Main Street. 18:58 On the right, I played right after Jerry Seinfeld. 19:00 I was proud that I sold out as well. 19:02 His tickets were 750 each. 19:04 mine were $75 in each. 19:05 You know what, sweetie, the details, who cares? 19:09 Yeah, I love that about you. 19:10 You sold out. 19:10 I sold out. 19:11 You sold out. 19:12 We are, which is great. 19:13 Oh my God, what about, I couldn't believe 19:15 when Alex called me to do Unwell Vegas? 19:19 This woman shows up and you were like, 19:21 on that stage, you're on with Kathy Hilton. 19:24 You guys are doing, you're dancing. 19:26 I'm like, what are they doing up there? 19:27 It was truly the most chaotic and insane thing. 19:30 I had no, and also we had like practice nothing. 19:33 So we practiced nothing. 19:34 Well, that's what she's off the cuff. 19:35 And she just goes on stage. 19:37 We all were like, it was incredible. 19:39 And I had to teach Cabral Ask to my comedian girlfriend 19:41 from Waimara. 19:43 She should do stand-up, don't you think? 19:44 She should do stand-up. 19:45 Well, I do stand-up, Sonya and your setting. 19:47 I know, but I want her to be like, stand-up. 19:48 By the way, you know what? 19:50 I can't believe you said stand-up 19:51 because I just did a little practice. 19:52 You weren't there. 19:53 Kid Squared in Second Harbor. 19:55 I tried a little sit-down with Sonya, unscripted, 20:00 because what I noticed being number one on cameo, 20:02 I'm like why why and then when I do so in New York City, I say they're not 20:06 coming for a show. They're coming to tell me all their situations, marriage, divorce, 20:12 having a baby, coming out, difficulties and I'm like okay it's gonna be this kind of night. 20:18 How many cameos are you making a day? At least 12. 20:21 While I'm filming it's Ben Hart. Yeah she's killing cameo. I do cameo as well but she's 20:28 really number one. I panic. I'm like, oh, you know, 28. Oh my God, how am I going to survive? 20:36 You know, you know, what is my biggest takeaway from this cameo thing is that, you know, we hear 20:40 so much that the show has given them, you know, gotten through them through law school. 20:45 It's gotten them through cancer. It's made me connected to my mother, you know. So after all 20:50 the work we've done in television, television for this long, it really feels nice that people 20:55 people can take that away and that, and that we can do something to help other people in 20:59 that way, which is forget about your life and entertain. 21:02 And that's why we do what we do in terms of my, you know, Cabaret saved my life in so 21:06 many ways. 21:06 Right. 21:07 And I talk about that on my tour and, and, you know, and for Sonya too, you know, that 21:13 comedic relief and, and the creative part of what we do and the people that really 21:19 take away from it is, is really. 21:21 It's amazing. 21:22 It's a big deal for people. 21:23 They buy those tickets. 21:23 It's a plan I had. 21:24 Sometimes I sell the balcony out first 21:26 because those are the affordable tickets. 21:28 Three months in advance, they're booked. 21:30 Got to make it affordable. 21:31 And you know, the front row is everybody gets. 21:33 Like Caviar. 21:34 The front row sells out last minute 21:36 because those are the people that can afford to wait 21:38 and they just fly in with a private jet 21:40 with all their girlfriends and they get in the front row 21:42 and it's crazy. 21:42 People are shaking, sweating, crying. 21:44 You guys are, you are business women through and through 21:47 and I love that about you. 21:49 Well, what are you? 21:50 Look who's talking, Alex. 21:51 You're so young. 21:52 Stop, stop. 21:52 You're so sweet. 21:54 Great marriage. 21:54 This isn't about me. 21:55 We're moving on. 21:56 She's got it all. 21:57 What else you got for us? 21:57 Okay, who is the most likely to lie in a confessional? 22:02 Not me, I'll tell you everything. 22:05 Whatever you want to know. 22:06 Who's most likely to complain 22:07 about not having enough screen time? 22:11 Ramona. 22:12 I was gonna say Ramona. 22:13 But why would I say that? 22:14 Cause she doesn't want to film as much as we are. 22:16 That's true. 22:16 She's sent my retire now 22:17 and she doesn't want any drama. 22:18 We don't really compete for screen time, I think. 22:20 Actually, why did I say send my retire? 22:21 She just doesn't want to work that hard, you know. 22:24 She doesn't want that much screen time. 22:25 Okay, the screen time. 22:27 But she's doing everything she does is gold. 22:29 Right. 22:30 I mean, I can't wait for you to see. 22:31 Golden. 22:32 Oh, it's golden. 22:32 It's golden. 22:33 It's golden. 22:34 Okay, who's gold? 22:34 I can't wait. 22:35 You know, Alex, it's golden. 22:37 It's golden. 22:38 We gotta get that plug in there. 22:39 I never thought I would do this again, but you know. 22:41 But here we are. 22:42 Here we are. 22:43 Because I love my girls. 22:44 Okay. 22:44 And I have 60 best girlfriends, 22:45 but I love these girls too. 22:47 Okay. 22:48 Who's most likely to date a friend's ex? 22:50 Not me. 22:53 Friends X. 22:54 Kelly would never. 22:55 Ramona would never. 22:56 We won't get into it. 22:57 And Darinda doesn't date that much. 22:59 Okay. 23:00 Sonia, I feel like your friends have a way of kind of like dating people that you've 23:05 dated in the past. 23:06 Why do you think you're such a trailblazer with men? 23:09 Well, I just think it's a good housekeeping seal of approval if I'm out with someone 23:13 who's spending my time because I'm usually reclusive. 23:16 So if you see me out with a guy, you know, they have good manners. 23:18 they're, you know, of means, they're, they're generous. 23:22 So maybe you're the woman that like- 23:23 And good people. 23:24 And so then other women are like, 23:26 oh, what does she see in him? 23:27 Maybe I could take him for a spin. 23:29 Oh yeah. 23:29 Well, you saw her in the trailer, 23:31 she's got her hands up, my boyfriend shared, okay? 23:33 Yeah, let's talk about that. 23:33 But Ramon and I did that to be cheeky 23:35 because we were like, how do you like it now, Luan? 23:36 Yeah, I don't find it's threatening, darling. 23:39 You don't. 23:39 Did I say threatening? 23:40 No, that, Michael's going nowhere. 23:42 We thought it was a joke. 23:43 So is that who in the trailer you say- 23:44 No, I was mad. 23:45 I was mad. 23:46 You were. 23:47 Ramona and I were like, how do you like it? 23:49 Because she did ask us to dance with them 23:50 and he was into it too. 23:51 No, I said, you know, take the girl's first pin 23:53 because there was no men to dance with, right? 23:56 I gave them an inch and they took the whole bratwurst, 23:58 okay? 23:58 We're just being ourselves. 24:00 So you're like trying to share your man. 24:02 Yes, I mean, nice, and that girl's dance a little bit. 24:04 And then they took a little advantage, yeah. 24:06 Exactly. 24:06 No, we're just being ourselves. 24:07 I was not happy about it, but then we worked through it. 24:10 Is that the moment in the trailer you say 24:12 she loves to flirt with any man who was mine? 24:14 That's right. 24:15 Are you referring to Sonia? 24:16 No, I don't flirt with other people's men. 24:18 But I will tell you, the girls, I'm not bringing any, 24:22 I will not bring any of my. 24:23 I'm the only one that has a man. 24:25 I will not bring my men around anymore 24:28 because they cannot be trusted around the girls. 24:30 Hold on, pause, Luanne. 24:33 So do you disagree that Sonia will 24:35 maybe flirt with your man? 24:36 Well, you know, I don't have a problem with flirting. 24:39 I have a problem with putting one's hands up 24:42 on your boyfriend's shirt. 24:45 Rightly so, right? I mean, I'm not the jealous type, but I was like, okay. This is gone 24:49 I was kidding around out by his belt. I was kidding around Luann was Luann said to dance with Michael Ramona got up first 24:57 And then I joined her and we were both bumping him from the side and having fun. And then I thought I'd show off his belly 25:04 Why not just why not? 25:07 That's for sure. Oh, does he have a nice body? Oh, yeah. Okay. Well, you know, I'm not into good-looking guys 25:12 Like your husband's way too good looking, not interested. 25:16 So yeah, I like really, really, like, 25:20 if I'm getting, if I'm gonna get nude, 25:22 I like I'm a little bit more, you know, my speed. 25:25 Okay, so you like a little bald, little belly, little. 25:29 She likes to be the pretty one. Smart, passionate. 25:31 Okay, so you want, generous, caring. 25:34 I see, so like personality on 10 looks. 25:38 Don't care. 25:39 Now, okay, why are you not bringing your men around the girls anymore? 25:43 That's a good question. 25:43 Because I don't want to see them showing up every time. 25:46 Everywhere I go, it's the pirate, it's Harry, it's, you know, Tom. 25:51 And I'm just like, I'm not bringing them around. 25:53 Let's not make this about Tom, okay? 25:55 I really don't want to see them in my friend group after I'm done. 25:59 Okay, so you're feeling like maybe the girls keep the guys around that you were 26:03 circulating. 26:03 And it's not, you're not interested. 26:05 How do you feel about that, Luanne? 26:07 Well, you know, we do get to see Harry around this season of the show, right? 26:12 In the beginning. 26:13 He's everywhere. 26:14 At this point, he's a friend. 26:15 Do you know what I mean? 26:16 He's like another housewife at this point. 26:17 Of course. 26:18 Yeah, yeah, yeah. 26:19 But he still loves to be on the show. 26:20 No, but he's still interested in me and his family adores me, but I'm not interested 26:24 in a man that wants to be on the show or date my girlfriends. 26:27 Does it freak you out if a guy is really interested in your career on television? 26:32 Like not interested. 26:34 It's never been my thing. 26:34 like, remember Jacques was always great on the show, right? And, you know, Michael is just, 26:40 you know, he's great because he's just, he's comfortable with who he is. And he's a real man. 26:44 So he's there to support me. He's not there to steal the Camry. In fact, he always says that 26:48 I'm here to, you know, let you shine. And that one spotlight kind of freak me out. 26:53 That's like a little freak. No, he doesn't care about that. He's there to support me. 26:56 And the guys I like are very kind of grumpy. They're like, Oh, you talked to me kind of 27:02 guys you know my ex I'm thinking of and other boyfriends I like a guy that is more 27:06 discreet quiet hides himself away has a very solid stable family lifestyle and a 27:14 big people and not looking oh no I don't have a plane darling private play not 27:20 the peepee we all thought of right I'm not interested in private planes or 27:24 You weren't on private islands anymore. 27:26 I'm not going to try to replicate what I had, Sonia had it over it. 27:32 So, so you had it and now you're like, if they have one, is that a no-no for you? 27:37 Depends on the guy. 27:38 If, if money is his God, no. 27:41 If, you know, my ex-husband didn't care about all that. 27:44 What if he has a yacht? 27:46 If, if he has a yacht, because if he has a yacht, because he looks at 27:51 as a place to have family and entertain. Okay. But if, you know, the problem when you have 27:56 yacht, you really can't afford to take it out with just two people. 27:59 You're going to see a lot of yacht parties on this, on the show, you know, which we're excited 28:04 about. We're doing a lot of, a lot of really fun things on the show. And let me tell you, 28:10 some things just never changed. Like our relationships are still like, 28:15 you know, all over the place. But as we're friends, you know, we're tight and we get 28:20 through it. And I think that's, you know, hopefully inspirational for everyone out there. Like if you 28:26 have a real friendship that you should do and work through it, you know, I think that's why we also, 28:31 aside from your guys, amazing personalities, your relationships, it's beautiful because it's like, 28:37 we're looking at women who I think there's so many interesting things, obviously, we can always 28:41 talk about on podcasts and dating and what's going on. But female friendships are so beautiful. 28:47 and the fact that you guys have been through ups and downs 28:50 with this entire cast, 28:51 and you still come back together is really beautiful. 28:54 Now, I know Bethany isn't filming on the show. 28:58 Do you guys keep in touch with her? 29:00 What's the vibe? 29:01 Well, Sonia has been in touch with her more than I have. 29:03 I mean, we will always have that housewise history. 29:06 Do you know what I mean? 29:07 It's not that we see each other, 29:08 but that history will always be there. 29:10 And, you know, I only wish her the best. 29:12 And Sonia, I think, did something with her. 29:14 In Paris, yeah. 29:15 But I so I can tell you this story, which is very interesting. I was in Palm Beach. I never run into Ramona 29:21 I never run into 29:23 Bethany, so I'm at bingo 29:26 At the hotel calling you frequent bingo often. Yes, I go in church every week 29:30 Oh, so I'm facing the bar so people in the room don't know it's me because I'm very, you know reclusive and 29:36 Ramona has her table and she's wearing all her fabulous palm leaves and jewelry and diamonds and all that and 29:42 All the sudden I see Bethany 29:46 Unplanned, on this- 29:47 Oh really, was it unplanned? 29:48 Hold on, hold on, I'll get to you. 29:50 She knows where they go. 29:51 Give me a second, I think Alex wants to hear this. 29:52 Darling. 29:53 So we're at this place, unplanned. 29:56 She walks up to me and she goes, 29:58 did you know Ramona's here? 29:59 And I'm like, no. 30:00 She's so spontaneous, Bethany, isn't she? 30:02 Hold on, I need to tell this to Alex. 30:05 So she got very emotional. 30:07 So did I, so did Ramona because when you don't have cameras on you 30:10 and you're not trying to put out 22 episodes under the pressure, 30:14 you just love each other. 30:17 We always love each other. 30:18 The thing about us is we're very unfiltered. 30:21 We do love each other and we accept each other 30:23 the way we are after we get over the pain 30:26 of what came out of our mouths. 30:27 I think she had it all planned. 30:29 No, not at all. 30:30 You think that Bethany wanted to see? 30:32 No, no, no. 30:32 She just happened to be the way. 30:34 By chance. 30:34 The woman never goes to Palm Beach community. 30:36 Why would she know I was gonna be there? 30:38 I didn't tell her. 30:38 Ramona didn't tell her. 30:39 Do you ever post about going to Bingo? 30:40 No. 30:41 I'm gonna say yes. 30:41 No, nothing. 30:42 I think she wanted out of it, Luanne. 30:44 I think she wanted out of it to kind of, I don't know, 30:49 do a little intel as to what's going on with us 30:51 and take the girls away from the show possibly, 30:55 because they had to leave the show during filming 30:57 to go on this trip. 30:58 That wasn't planned. 31:00 Here's what happened. 31:01 So we ran into each other there, 31:03 and I just think the universe is wild like that. 31:06 Why were we in the same place in the universe, 31:08 right there in that spot? 31:10 One room, within one room. 31:13 So you're skeptical, you feel like it was fate? 31:16 No, everyone knows I don't tell stories. 31:18 We really ran into each other. 31:20 And so what happens is, she was already planning 31:24 to take us for rock, this huge multi-million dollar campaign 31:29 for skincare. 31:31 And I'm like, Paris, when would you ever think 31:35 that me, Ramona, and Bethany, these loud Americans 31:38 on reality TV would be invited to Paris to do a French skin care line. It's very 31:43 chic, but I always say hardly any Parisians live in Paris anymore. 31:57 Call Her Daddy is brought to you by Haagen-Dazs. Okay, it is so important to 32:02 take some me time. I had no idea what the show was about. Never watched it. 35:00 And I see Kelly spiraling and I see the girls like digging and digging and pushing I'm like okay 35:07 This has to stop I couldn't believe it personally 35:10 So that's the first time I spent the night in the same room as Ramona, and we've done it every trip since 35:16 Because I only had one umbrella to wedge the door. I was afraid Kelly was gonna come and be like 35:29 So I 35:30 So you thought she was gonna come in in the middle of the night. 35:33 And if you and Ramona were together, you'd be safe. 35:35 So I wedged my umbrella, her umbrella on the sliding doors, 35:38 and we slept like babies. 35:39 When we woke up, Kelly was gone, she walked the plank. 35:42 Now, when you, obviously you guys are no strangers 35:44 to girl strips, for you, when you look back 35:47 at all of the girl strips you've been on, 35:49 what do you think was the most disastrous 35:52 for you personally? 35:53 Oh, Cartagena. 35:54 Yeah, we almost died. 35:55 Cartagena, we almost died on that boat, 35:58 And then we all had, you know, we had to wear diapers. 36:01 Sonia had to wear diapers. 36:03 I mean, I should have worn diapers. 36:04 Still working on that diaper deal. 36:06 Yeah, you should get a diaper deal. 36:08 I know, it depends. 36:09 That, okay, so on this season of Ultimate Girls Trip, 36:11 Kyle Richards said that the Beverly Hills women 36:13 don't have gastro issues, 36:15 but the New York women do, 36:18 obviously referencing Cartagena. 36:20 Do you guys want to take a minute 36:21 to clear your names? 36:23 How do you feel about it? 36:24 How do you feel for being known for that now? 36:26 What do we think? 36:27 Well, I, you know, listen, it happens to everyone, right? 36:31 You go and have a bad piece of fish. 36:32 And you know what the crazy part is? 36:34 Is that we all got really ill. 36:36 I mean, we had to go get, you know, treated for parasites. 36:40 It was really bad. 36:41 It wasn't just about the diarrhea, it was about parasites. 36:43 And it's so funny because the only one 36:45 that didn't get sick was Bethany 36:46 because she doesn't eat seafood or shellfish. 36:49 So, I mean, the bitch is the only one 36:51 that didn't get sick. 36:52 How crazy is that? 36:54 Oh my God, no, you guys with your diapers, 36:57 She was on the plane with her diapers. 36:59 I went through every pair of underwear, 37:01 every bathing suit bottom. 37:03 Your bed had to be burned. 37:05 Oh, my God, I had to be burned. 37:06 I went through two twin beds. 37:08 That's right! 37:09 Two twin beds. 37:10 She started on one side and moved to the other. 37:12 I also slid through Ramona's- 37:14 And Ramona was pooping on the floor. 37:15 I mean, it was bad. 37:16 I slid right through it. 37:19 Let's go through some girl trips, do's and don'ts. 37:22 I want your opinions, okay? 37:23 All right, all right, booking daily group tours 37:26 and scheduled activities. 37:27 How do we feel about it if you're on a girl's trip? 37:30 Not me. 37:30 I'm more spontaneous than that. 37:32 Although I do like somebody 37:33 who likes to organize that kind of stuff. 37:35 Okay. 37:36 I mean, I love a friend that's really organized 37:38 and I just kind of have to follow along. 37:40 You're just not gonna be that friend. 37:41 Yes. 37:42 Okay, you're not gonna book it. 37:42 I like somebody to plan it, yeah. 37:44 And Sonia, why are you like, not me. 37:45 We don't do that. 37:46 We show up when we entertain. 37:47 Okay, perfect. 37:48 Two guys. 37:48 We bring the party. 37:49 Now, what about assigning sleeping arrangements ahead of time? 37:54 We don't do that either. 37:56 It usually comes down to straws or some sort of a game, so we can keep Ramona from running 38:01 to the best room first. 38:02 That's what it's going to say. 38:03 Like, how do you decide who gets the nicest room? 38:05 Well, we share Ramona night, so we get the biggest room and I get a tub. 38:08 I like bathtub. 38:09 Okay, are you taking a bath every night? 38:11 Every night. 38:12 Every morning? 38:13 Nope, every night. 38:13 Every night. 38:14 Okay. 38:14 I love a bath. 38:15 I think it's important. 38:16 How do you feel if you had to bunk up with someone other than Ramona like do you I don't mind staying at Luanne's home 38:23 She takes great care of me and it's very peaceful very European style 38:26 But I I mean sometimes want to stay at Ramona's like I'd annoy with that music. She blasts 38:31 Every morning bam. Okay. So how do you feel about if one of the women stays in on a night where the group is going out? 38:38 They don't like it. I 38:41 Would love to do that. I don't have FOMO. I have no fear of missing out 38:44 I'm happy to stay home and rest in between. 38:46 Is there ever an instance where it's acceptable 38:48 with the group? 38:49 Like if you're like, I gotta stay home because of, no. 38:52 They don't like it. 38:53 Even if you're shitting yourself. 38:54 Oh, well, well. 38:55 They only like it to show up to their events and support. 38:58 You gotta be there. 38:59 I feel like, what do you need me for? 39:00 You have everybody else. 39:02 Well, we love you, Sonia. 39:04 Okay, how do we feel about bringing a guy 39:07 back to the shared house? 39:10 I flew in that one. 39:11 Well, I mean, isn't that famous story? 39:14 We're being cool don't be like all uncool came and and it was because you know, Sonya Ramona and I were single 39:20 I don't know where you were that night, but we went out and we brought the guys back to the house 39:25 You know the whole story. So I feel like we're grown women 39:29 Right if we want to bring somebody that we like back to the house into our room 39:32 Then why not do we feel like we have to ask permission or what do we think is the boundary? 39:38 Oh, yeah, I'm gonna wake up, you know, Sonya at two o'clock in the morning 39:41 and hey, do you mind if I bring a guy into my bed? 39:43 She'd be like, what? 39:44 Are you kidding? 39:45 Can I come? 39:46 I think at that point, a late evening, 39:49 you're just trying to close the deal. 39:50 I'm just trying to close the deal. 39:52 That's asking for a threesome right there. 39:54 She's like, are you, is this your way of saying, 39:56 should I get up? 39:57 Yeah, should I get in the bed? 39:58 So, and how do we feel about the morning after? 40:01 We're in a house with all the women. 40:02 Are we immediately getting the man out of there? 40:04 Is he staying for brunch? 40:05 No, he has to go out the back door. 40:09 Back door. 40:09 I like them after 11 and out by 7 personally. 40:12 Really? 40:13 Say that again? 40:14 After 11, out by 7. 40:16 Okay, that's kind of, that's a good rule. 40:18 It's good. 40:18 You don't wanna stay in the morning. 40:19 It's a night shift. 40:20 11 to 7. 40:21 Do you stay in bed and just say leave 40:23 or do you walk him out? 40:25 What are we doing? 40:27 One more little snuggle. 40:28 And then you can go. 40:30 Cause you know, morning is always good. 40:32 I like to walk out. 40:34 I think it's very chic. 40:35 Classy. 40:35 Yeah, yeah, yeah. 40:36 Okay. 40:36 And then that's all you're getting 40:37 this morning. 40:38 How do you feel, it's the only time you can get it up is the morning, sometimes. 40:42 Um, Sonia, you have once called a walk of shame, a victory lap. 40:47 Can you kind of paint the picture for me? 40:50 What comes to mind for some of your best victory laps? 40:53 Like the morning after, tell me. 40:56 Well, I only, I mean, I said that because when it came on the show at first, 41:01 I was the only one dating young guys. 41:02 I was the only one going naked. 41:04 The only one getting drunk and falling down. 41:05 What do you mean? 41:06 I was like the first to do all of that. 41:08 What about Jack? 41:09 He was younger guys. 41:10 Yeah, come on. 41:11 What's up with Jack? 41:11 No, my daughter told me, mom, at a certain point, 41:14 Quincy said, you have to give up hot pants 41:17 and you have to give up dating this young hockey player. 41:20 And I was like, all right, I'm not giving up the hot pants, 41:23 but I did give up the guy. 41:25 Okay, so Quincy was like, mom, 41:27 he's old enough that I could date him. 41:29 Exactly. 41:30 Oh my God, do you think you and Quincy 41:31 are ever gonna argue over a guy? 41:33 Never, never. 41:34 But did she like the hockey player? 41:37 No, no, why did you want you to get rid of the whole my friends loved him? 41:41 She meet the hockey player. She did not she's heard about mm-hmm. Well, she knew he was there 41:45 He could tell but she was over the hockey player. She didn't want you with the hockey player 41:48 She just didn't want me dating young guys at that point 41:50 No, how are you sticking around for a while for years and years? So what kind of hockey player like professional like New York Ranger? 41:57 So yeah, you know 41:59 Because we went out several times, you know with the boys with him. It's a good 42:04 Cover. 42:05 Did you ever go to some games? 42:06 Well, they have a great hockey stick. 42:07 Yeah, they did. 42:08 I love that for you. 42:10 Oh my, you're like a wag. 42:11 He was so smart, very well educated and very elegant, 42:14 nice family and a great player. 42:17 Can we revisit the pirate for a second? 42:19 Sure. 42:20 Just to give everyone, just like a little tingle, 42:22 a little happiness, a little fun. 42:24 Look, it's on your face. 42:24 She's like, this is not fun. 42:26 Okay. 42:27 LeWan, when you brought the pirate back to the house 42:31 on that girl's trip in St. Bart's. Like, what was it about the pirate that just like gotcha good? 42:39 Well, you know, first of all, I thought he was hot. Second of all, 42:43 I was already dating Jacques at the time. Yes, you were. Right? So I brought him back because 42:48 we had a little marijuana. Okay. And, and, uh, he'd never been to that house and that house 42:55 was like $100,000 a week to rent. And he'd never been to that house. So 42:59 So what I didn't know is we got back to the house with one of the drivers from production, 43:03 which I thought was a random driver. 43:04 So the production person put in the girls ears, asked the way on how she got home because 43:10 they were all sleeping, right? 43:11 So she was sleeping. 43:12 She had no idea. 43:12 But she got news in the morning how I got home. 43:14 Now he left, I told him to leave at like three o'clock in the morning because I have 43:18 to film tomorrow, et cetera, because I was in love with Jack. 43:21 So I never, I never, okay. 43:23 And he's been on Andy's show at this point that you see him on Andy Cohen's 43:26 side. 43:27 Oh, Andy Cohen show. 43:28 So my little white line turned into a snowball effect right by saying that tiger never changes its stride 43:35 Stop it. Just the age spot. That's what she said on the phone to her girlfriend leopard leopard 43:40 What is your version? So my version is my girlfriend that owns the latee st. Bart's 43:44 She's hooked me up a couple of times with her exes because she brings them over from Paris 43:48 So she says I said to her I'm having a party who? 43:53 You're all okay same parts. It's not me 43:55 So she introduced me to a couple of guys 43:59 and I got them to New York, they work there, 44:00 they have restaurants now. 44:02 So she says, I want you to meet this guy. 44:04 He's totally matriculated and it's time for him 44:06 to leave the nest. 44:07 And I said, okay. 44:08 So when he gets to the house, I invited him over. 44:10 So he's my date and I say to him on camera, 44:13 I go, now you sure? 44:16 Yes, I invited him. 44:17 And that's how he got there. 44:19 Where did you think he came from the sky? 44:20 Come on. 44:21 Obviously he came from Sonia's, you know, 44:23 I am the curator of you know what you got the man. So so he comes and I the last thing 44:29 I remember saying to him as I was turning the car 44:31 Are you sure you're over Carol cuz I was just teasing him to see if he really wanted to be there 44:35 And then the door and I went this way and then he went that way and then the next thing 44:39 I know he's at the lower bungalow not in the fish room not in the basement 44:43 the lower bungalow so to confirm 44:47 Both of you neither of you or one of you slept with the pirate. Oh, I slept with the pirate 44:54 I did, I would wear like a badge of honor and you know this way she didn't get sloppy seconds so 44:58 everyone thought you slept with right well he thought he did too because he called me from 45:03 St. Bart's and he goes I'm coming to New York and I'm taking acting lessons and I'm gonna talk about 45:09 Luanne and I go oh would Tom Cruise do that if you're gonna be an actor be an actor 45:13 if you're gonna sleep with someone sleep with the producer not you know so do we want to have 45:18 sex with him while he's in his pirate gear only only only it was a moment after 45:25 that it was never the same now do you saw him afterwards he's unrecognizable he 45:29 now lives in Miami doesn't wear on makeup he has very short hair and if you see 45:33 more down the street you'd never recognize him not Andy Cohen brought him up 45:37 from New York to confirm like what happened he goes I never slept with the 45:40 wind but after my tutelage so you liked him in his pirate outfit and 45:45 and nothing more, nothing less. 45:47 If I had met him like I did and did what I did, 45:51 I would have continued to see him here and there in New York, 45:52 but after I found out that he came home with Lou Ann 45:54 and was smoking a joint and everything, I said, ah. 45:56 You're done. 45:57 Done. 45:57 No, you slept with him that night. 45:58 I'm just done. 45:59 Yeah, but I didn't continue to see him in New York. 46:02 He was calling me to come to New York, 46:03 and I was not. 46:03 I'm sure he was. 46:04 I'm sure he was. 46:05 No, I wasn't interested after that. 46:06 Sweet. 46:07 Where do we go after the pirate suite? 46:09 Do we like when, do we like to dress up 46:12 in the bedroom? 46:12 room. 46:14 Dress up in the bedroom. 46:16 I kind of look better without my clothes. 46:18 Yeah, exactly. 46:19 Like, Michael's like, my bother with the night. 46:21 I'm just going to continue. 46:22 Are we doing a little lingerie? 46:24 I like lingerie. 46:25 Me too. 46:26 You famously said, Sonia, there's three things 46:29 for the bidet. 46:30 There's washing the lingerie. 46:32 There's icing your face. 46:33 And then the obvious. 46:35 Are we still doing bidet laundry? 46:38 Yes, I like to use the bidet for those reasons. 46:40 OK. 46:40 But it's always thick and spank clean, you know? 46:42 It's clean as a kitchen sink where you can ice your face. 46:45 What's the difference? 46:46 And when you're doing it the obvious way, 46:48 it's cleaned afterwards. 46:49 Clean. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 46:50 You don't sit on a bidet when you really have a problem. 46:53 I mean, you do what? 46:54 I don't know if I want to put my face into bidet. 46:56 That's all I got to say. 46:56 Well, it's the thought that gets you. 46:58 Another way you also have avoided doing laundry. 47:01 One of your taglines one season was, 47:02 sometimes Sonia has to go commando. 47:04 What can I say? 47:05 What are your guidelines for going commando? 47:08 Well, I probably should have gone commando today 47:10 because I don't like the panty lines. 47:11 Oh, wait, you have underwear on right now? 47:13 I've got a lot of junk in my hand. 47:15 It's just a junk in the trunk. 47:17 I have a sizeable. 47:18 You have a seam cleaner for the couch. 47:20 I don't like those panty lines. 47:22 Sorry, my pants are bothering me, hold on. 47:24 You should have gone commando. 47:27 No, look, but these open like this. 47:29 I love these panty lines. 47:30 No, no, I just, I don't like these panty lines. 47:32 Okay, so we don't like panty, like, are we wearing, 47:34 you know, are we going commando in jeans? 47:37 No, God, no. 47:38 Oh, God, no. 47:38 But we're not. 47:39 Tight dresses. 47:40 Tight dresses and maybe pants, skirts. 47:43 How do you feel about that, Luanne? 47:44 Then pants. 47:45 Um, you know, I think, you know, wearing jeans or pants without underwear is, you know, it's, 47:51 um, how do you call it, not camel toe, but kind of wedgy. 47:55 Oh, it feels like it would hurt. 47:57 You know what I don't like is the G string thing. 47:59 That's the dental floss action. 48:00 Oh yeah, what's your go-to underwear? 48:02 Well, I like hankie-pankies. 48:04 Commando, or they do have a new underwear. 48:06 There's a couple of companies that do it that prevent camel toe. 48:09 Okay, good. 48:09 So you've researched it and you're feeling good. 48:12 Oh, I'm working on it. 48:13 Okay, you're working on it. 48:16 Okay, Luanne, obviously one of your most famous quotes, 48:19 you referenced it earlier, was your voice text, 48:21 your then-fiancé Tom, when you said, 48:24 how could you do this to me? 48:25 Question mark, what was it like finding out 48:29 that he kissed another woman on camera? 48:32 Listen, I still married the guy even, you know, 48:35 cause we like to believe in the good of people 48:37 and that people make mistakes. 48:39 but even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes. 48:42 Even Louis Vuitton. 48:43 So you marry him, do you, looking back, 48:46 what do you wish you could have told that version 48:48 of yourself before you married him? 48:50 Listen to Sonya, she said. 48:51 Listen to the red flags. 48:53 I told her. 48:53 The love is blind, you know. 48:54 I told her it was not marriage material. 48:56 I don't live with regret, you know what I'm saying? 48:58 No, I'm not somebody who lives with regret. 49:00 She was gonna get married. 49:01 And you know, and I love the man at the time. 49:03 So, you know, but you know, 49:06 we have to make our own mistakes, 49:07 makes learn from them and grow from them. 49:08 It is a good point. 49:09 Like I feel like sometimes we can have our friends telling us 49:12 but sometimes we just have to live through the experience 49:14 because then you're like, okay, I did it. 49:17 I know that that wasn't right. 49:18 But if you ended up going 49:20 because all of your friends told you to 49:21 you could then end up presenting your friends 49:23 and that's worse, that is worse, right? 49:26 You're right out. 49:27 That's worse, right? 49:27 You have to make your own mistakes 49:28 and I think that's really how you learn. 49:30 How do you guys navigate 49:31 when you see the other person making a mistake 49:33 but also wanting to be there for each other? 49:35 Like how do you kind of sit back and know maybe oh, they're making a mistake, but I'm not gonna judge them 49:40 You just wait and don't judge and then let them know you're still there for them no matter what yeah cute 49:45 Okay, there is this misconception that the best days as women are behind you when you're 30 40 50 49:53 It's like okay. It's over, but I feel like you two are just revving up 50:01 What is the best part about getting older? 50:06 I mean, for me, the best part is, you know, being in the driver's seat and not having to 50:11 need a man, right? 50:13 This point in life and, and being busy and, you know, success is the best revenge, right? 50:18 And I feel like that at this age, we really, I, you know, I say this, you know, I cry 50:25 when I have to and I love who I want to now. 50:27 Do I mean, so that's true. 50:29 I, you know, I, I live the life that I want to live now and I don't do things 50:33 that I don't like anymore. 50:34 You know I'm saying I do things that I love and I lead my life that way 50:38 That's why I love cabaret because I write my story. It's my story 50:41 Right and that's you know how I lead my life now. Well, the thing about being in my 60s is 52:49 it's bittersweet because you have less time on earth and you start to really 52:52 value real connection. You know, social currency sort of goes out the window. 52:57 You don't really care about collecting connections. You have them 53:00 already. And you have wisdom to share. And then you start to find your real purpose. I love and get 53:07 great joy. I love and get great joy out of working with my interns and mentoring them and making sure 53:16 they get great jobs and see the world. And they can tell what they really want to do for the career. 53:22 What's going on? Just having a little bit of us. We're having a coffee attack. You're saying 53:26 the most beautiful thing and Luanna, I'm like, Luanna's about to pass up. 53:29 Of course, first of all, she reaches for the drink mid-sentence instead of waiting. 53:33 No, no, no, I actually love that. 53:34 I'm joking over here. 53:35 So, I was saying. 53:37 That's great advice. 53:37 It's like by a certain point, you've collected all the good people in your life and instead 53:42 of trying so hard to go and find new people, you get to settle in and enjoy the people 53:47 that you've collected throughout your life. 53:49 Have I always been there for you? 53:50 And you really start to learn that because even as a very young girl, I had people 53:53 around me that wanted access. 53:55 And then when you marry into a certain family and you have the private on the private plane and the yeah 54:00 You really see you're attracting people who just want to be in the room 54:04 So I'm very much over that period of my life 54:08 But like I said once you it's bittersweet because now I'm like how much longer do I have? 54:12 Sonya, we got a long way to go girl when it comes to dating also because obviously you're thriving in that department 54:19 As you said you walked around you picked the rancher you took him to your hotel room 54:23 you're having fun what do you think is the most surprising thing about dating in your 60s? 54:30 So the thing about dating at this point for me before was you know my daughter was at home she 54:34 was on the fourth floor I'm on the second floor so it was always about being having her embedded 54:39 on time and being there for her when she came home from school and I just really 54:42 couldn't commit to some of my age. I was really reinventing myself and hustling and so 54:47 So I would date guys who are just starting to invent themselves. 54:51 But now I have had a couple of serious boyfriends the last, I'd say four years, one guy for 54:57 a year and a half and the last guy for five months. 55:00 I'm not going to waste another five months. 55:01 So now at this point I know when you're dating someone like I'm 62, the last guy I dated 55:07 was 58 and the guy before that 44. 55:10 You start to really see what you want and who you want to spend the rest of your 55:13 life with. 55:14 Love that. 55:15 Which is why I'm asking her if she's going to get married to Michael. 55:18 They've been together for two years. 55:20 Listen, I never say never. 55:22 I'm a hopeless romantic, three times the charm because I've been married twice now. 55:27 And I think dating at this point, in fact, I'm writing about this because I'm doing 55:32 a next chapter of class with the Countess because I have not done that book for Audible. 55:37 So I'm adding a chapter on this point of dating right now at this time of life. 55:42 And, you know, it's just so different because, you know, we've got our children, we've got 55:47 our homes, you know, I look around and go, Oh my God, I have a career, I have my children, 55:50 I have my cap and ratios, I have, you know, my homes and, and everything I'm wanting, 55:55 my girlfriends and things, right? 55:56 So it's, it's the added extra thing for me, right? 55:59 And I think when you're happy, this draws people to you. 56:02 And the right people to you, which is the right energy, like I'm in a good place. 56:06 And so, and I can, I'm pretty good at reading people. 56:10 And I, you know, when I saw Michael for the first time, 56:12 I was like, oh my God, that's like my next guy. 56:14 You kind of know. 56:16 She's sort of like your first husband. 56:17 Right. 56:17 I married Alex to Count after two weeks of knowing him. 56:20 She knew right away. 56:22 You know, sometimes I jump too fast. 56:24 So with this relationship, you know, 56:26 I am just taking it one day at a time, easy peasy. 56:30 But we're happy. 56:31 But we're happy and we're definitely a couple 56:34 and he's definitely my partners. 56:35 Oh. 56:36 Yeah. 56:36 Okay, Luanne, you said on the Ultimate Girls trip, 56:39 you want to die having sex. 56:42 I just need to know from both of you, in which position? 56:47 Oh, definitely on the bottom. 56:53 Yeah, that would be kind of- 56:53 Definitely on the bottom. 56:54 I agree, because who wants to pick the dead body up? 56:56 Right, who wants to throw my dead body up? 56:58 I'll be right back, darling. 56:59 I just have to take a leak and call the ambulance. 57:01 Okay, so so that you're really relaxed 57:03 and you're laying down. 57:04 You're in a good position. 57:05 Yeah, you're right. 57:05 You just have to put the hands across. 57:06 Well, yeah. 57:07 Yeah, easy cleanup. 57:09 Easy cleanup. 57:09 Okay, Luanne, there have been rumors 57:12 that you kissed Southern hospitalities. 57:14 Joe Bradley, who's more than 30 years younger than you? 57:18 We have to know what went down. 57:21 You know, that guy, I mean, so much charm. 57:26 I mean, right, he just has so much charm. 57:28 I think he's such a great, great guy. 57:30 And there was definitely chemistry. 57:32 Okay. 57:33 There was definitely chemistry. 57:34 I love how she's trying to like figure out how to answer. 57:36 He's like, um, and how much do we need to talk? 57:39 Well, you know, listen, he had a tracker on him, which I had no idea. 57:43 Okay. 57:43 So of course we did go to my apartment. 57:45 We did have a couple of friends with us though. 57:48 So I was not alone with him. 57:49 Okay. 57:50 So the truth is he did come to the apartment and a little, you know, flirt. 57:53 And, you know, that was the tracker on the girl friend, the girlfriend at the time. 57:58 I had the little apple. 57:59 But it was, it was a moment. 58:00 It was a moment. 58:01 It was the thing. 58:01 And listen, there's nothing wrong with the woman my age, like feeling good 58:06 about being attractive to a guy that's 28 and a half. 58:09 I'm like, don't say that, 28 and a half. 58:11 There is nothing at all wrong with it. 58:13 It's so normal for men. 58:14 It should be normal for women. 58:15 I will add, though, I cuss them off at 27 now, 58:18 because I say, at 28, you need to have your own life 58:21 and go on and get married and have children. 58:23 Oh, okay. 58:24 So the 27-year-old, you're like, 58:25 you can be still fucking around. 58:26 The 28-year-old, you're like, go get your wife. 58:29 And sometimes it's just random and spontaneous. 58:31 You know, that's the point. 58:33 It's like, it was so random. 58:35 And it was just a spontaneous moment that's, you know, 58:38 I, you know, with anyone, and you, you want to laugh? 58:41 I'm sitting at BravoCon, right? 58:43 And I'm at the bar with Tamara Judge and Teddy. 58:46 And this woman walks up to me and she goes, 58:48 hi, I just wanted to say hello. 58:49 I'm Joe Bradley's mother. 58:51 She loves you. 58:52 And she, and she couldn't have been, 58:54 she sat down for a half an hour and he said, 58:55 you know what, I want to thank you for putting 58:57 that lovely boy on the planet. 58:58 Cause I think he's so charming and so hot. 59:02 Right? 59:02 Right? 59:02 The mothers love us. 59:03 And so I thank Joe for putting him on the planet 59:05 because I had such a lovely time with him. 59:06 The mothers? 59:07 Yes. 59:07 The mothers love us because we don't want babies. 59:10 We don't need a pair of shoes. 59:12 We're not gonna get, you know, 59:13 we're not gonna ask for Harry Winston Diamond 59:16 and ask him to buy us an apartment. 59:17 The mothers are like, God bless your hand 59:19 for keeping my son, you know. 59:21 And they're probably fans. 59:22 And they're like, and they love us. 59:23 I love season two. 59:24 And he was with a new girlfriend, 59:25 he was with a new girlfriend at BravoCon. 59:27 So I said hello to Joe and his girlfriend. 59:29 Mother was there. 59:30 And he was kind of like. 59:31 It's a family affair. 59:33 Okay, having dated younger older, I'm going to list some statements and you tell me who 59:38 does it better, younger men or older men? 59:41 Better banter. 59:44 Older men. 59:46 Older. 59:46 Okay, more likely to pick up the bill. 59:49 Older. 59:51 Both or I'm not going. 59:53 More likely to want to put a label on it. 59:57 Younger. 59:58 Older. 59:59 Oh. 60:00 Okay. 60:00 Older is what labels. 60:01 The younger ones are just like, they know it's temporary. 60:04 But Luanne, you've had some younger ones that are like, 60:06 I'm in love with you, marry me. 60:08 And they think she's gonna have babies with me. 60:10 Men are so stupid, they think we can still have babies. 60:12 I'm like, what plan are they? 60:13 Let them dream. 60:15 Okay, better at dirty talk. 60:18 Older. 60:18 Older. 60:19 More likely to send a nude. 60:22 Younger. 60:25 What kind of nudes? 60:26 Nude, not nudes. 60:28 What kind of nudes? 60:30 Lig and dick pics. 60:31 The dick pics, yeah. 60:33 younger hockey player I'm not I plead the fifth okay okay are we saving them are 60:40 you looking at them later I don't have a collection of okay really don't okay more 60:44 likely to ghost you I've only been ghosted once I thought and then I found 60:51 out you just didn't have signal in the Hamptons younger probably younger we 60:55 broke up over it I went to the Hamptons recently at 1 a.m. all these 61:00 messages were coming in from the guy was dating for a year and a half when 61:03 and I thought he ghosted me. 61:05 And he thought I ghosted him. 61:07 My Ramona's like, why didn't you call each other? 61:09 That Hampton signal, let me tell you all that. 61:11 It's younger because it's like, pick up the phone. 61:14 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 61:15 Pick up the phone. 61:15 It's texting, I mean. 61:16 Good point. 61:17 We need to talk about all the women that are watching. 61:20 You guys obviously have so much confidence 61:21 when it comes to flirting with men. 61:23 So I'm gonna give you a little scenario 61:24 and I want you to tell me how you would handle it. 61:26 Are you ready? 61:27 Yes. 61:28 Luanne, you're at a bar. 61:30 You see a hot man sitting on a bar stool nearby. 61:32 Why? 61:33 How are you approaching him? 61:36 It's funny, you should ask, because I talk about this all the time, and I'm talking about 61:39 it when I'm writing right now, which is that, you know, when you're with a group of girls 61:44 or whatever alone, right, it's awkward maybe for him to come over to you, and it's awkward 61:49 maybe for you to go over to him, right? 61:51 You don't seem too, you know, aggressive. 61:54 So that's when the bartender or waiter comes in handy. 61:57 You write a note that says, why don't you join me for a drink? 62:01 I love it. 62:02 It's like it's kind of sexy. Nobody writes notes anymore. And I think it's really cute to get a love note. I 62:08 Love that. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. Okay, Sonya you work an office job 62:13 And you have a crush on your co-worker. How do you turn it into something more? I just don't do that. I can't 62:20 I've not 62:21 Do you see her in an office? 62:23 That's a better question. 62:24 I mean, I don't see something in an office. 62:25 You'd have to velcro on my ass to the chair. 62:27 No, no. 62:28 I don't date Bravo Leopardy's. 62:31 People ask me that all the time. 62:32 I just don't. 62:33 I wouldn't have an affair with someone in the office. 62:36 What about some of those Southern Charm guys that are coming to you? 62:39 No, no. 62:40 I've had Ted of Tets. 62:41 But that's it. 62:42 Craig said, what is the Ted of Tets? 62:43 He didn't know. 62:44 I said, no. 62:44 It's just, you know, we get together, you know, talk and have fun. 62:47 I like to party with the Southern Charm guys. 62:49 Okay, what do we think about like Austin or Shep or Craig? 62:53 No. 62:53 I like Craig, but only as friends. 62:55 Okay. 62:57 And specify why you're not dating any Bravo liberties. 63:00 I don't like to burn a bridge in business, it's not good. 63:02 I see. 63:03 Okay, so basically coworkers are off limits. 63:06 Absolutely. 63:07 You would just tell the girl, 63:08 go find another man down the street. 63:10 Every Sony in your city, I say that to the girls. 63:12 You never do it. 63:13 I love that. 63:14 Okay, Luanne, there's a hot life guard 63:16 at the pool and Palm Beach. 63:17 How do you get his attention? 63:19 Oh God, just sit up. 63:21 She just gets out of her lounge chair 63:23 and everybody's looking. 63:24 She's a bikini babe. 63:26 How do I get his attention? 63:28 Well, we were just on the beach, weren't we? 63:30 The paparazzi. 63:31 The paparazzi. 63:33 Yeah, and Sonny and I had a little 63:35 You had a moment. 63:36 We were on the beach. 63:36 What happened? 63:37 The bathrooms were too short. 63:38 I think just walking by to go to the bathroom is enough. 63:43 Making some eye contact? 63:44 Make eye contact. 63:45 It's telling him, you know, what a nice suntan he might have. 63:49 You know, flirting in that way, like, yeah. 63:51 You like to play soccer or whatever that, 63:53 what's that one, volleyball. 63:54 Yeah, yeah. 63:55 She gets right in the volleyball there. 63:56 Oh, beach volleyball is a great way 63:57 to pick up guys on the beach. 63:58 I've seen it. 63:59 But are you not joining the beach volleyball? 64:01 I'm just watching and learning. 64:02 I'm just watching and learning. 64:04 What happened with the paparazzi girls? 64:06 No, no, I was just saying on the beach. 64:08 Oh, there's a lot of paparazzi. 64:09 People noticed I was on the beach. 64:10 I see. 64:11 We were both in People magazine 64:12 as top celebrity bikini bods over 50? 64:16 Yes, you were. 64:18 I was over 60. 64:19 Oh, I love you. 64:20 I was over 60 or 50. 64:21 It was still when we were in our 50s, 64:23 so it was kind of like that. 64:24 And I think we can sell babies. 64:24 It was just a couple of weeks ago. 64:25 I love it. 64:26 Okay, Sonia, you're sitting next to an attractive man 64:29 on the plane. 64:31 What is your first move? 64:32 Don't talk. 64:34 Don't talk. 64:35 First thing I do. 64:35 That's gonna get you very far. 64:37 The first thing I do is like, 64:39 you know, I'll just get in my seat 64:40 and be demure, I'll ask him to put my luggage up for me 64:43 and see how he acts because maybe I don't wanna talk to him. 64:46 And then I see how he's acting, you know, while I'm seeing. 64:51 And then if I feel like he's elegant and put together 64:55 and he doesn't have a wedding ring, 64:58 he's not on his phone doing strange things 65:00 or just watching sports. 65:02 Oh, just stop very much, I'm not gonna, 65:04 there's a lot I don't like. 65:05 So then I will just start talking to him. 65:07 And then once I give him the Sonya pill, 65:09 Well, he's down for it. 65:10 He's done. 65:12 What is he done? 65:13 I was gonna say, just brush up against his leg. 65:14 Well, not if I'm not interested. 65:16 First I wanna see if I'm interested. 65:18 What's in the Sonya pill? 65:19 Just talk to him and, you know, try to connect, 65:23 make him feel important and noticed 65:24 and appreciated and comfortable. 65:28 Make sure I don't say my name. 65:30 I don't want him to know who I am right away. 65:32 Like if they know you're on TV, 65:33 sometimes men do run. 65:35 Oh, they get freaked out. 65:36 If they live a very discreet- 65:37 Well, they can't run off the plane. 65:38 Yeah, he cannot so you'll shove him back down 65:42 We're gonna do drag him in the bathroom 65:45 Maybe the first time no, I never did that on a commercial plane ever on a busing private 65:51 We did you you have not done my heart? No, it's just so disgusting. I put the socks not in the 12 65:57 I put the socks. I put the slippers. I put the paper towels down. There's definitely nothing 66:02 I mean, I can't use those little wands in the mile high club. Maybe not for you 66:06 Oh, no, as it is I have to put slippers the socks and then paper towels down just to use the lavatory 66:12 I can't stand that sticky wet floor. Okay. Oh 66:24 Call her daddy is brought to you by Airbnb 66:28 Okay, I am well into my third trimester now 66:31 So I haven't really been able to travel because I need to stay close to my doctor 66:36 But spending all this time at home has made me start thinking about all the places that I want to go 66:41 once the baby is here. I have literally been sitting on my couch with the TV on scrolling 66:46 through Airbnb and planning trips. I am nowhere ready to take yet, but suddenly my vacation 66:52 priorities I will say are completely different. Like does the house have enough bedrooms? 66:57 Is there a big kitchen? Does the furniture look baby safe or is every table covered 67:02 in sharp corners? And obviously we need an extra room for my mom who has already 67:08 made it very clear that she will not be leaving my side. She's like, I got you. I'm the babysitter. 67:13 Okay. And now that it is October, I'm picturing cooler weather, cozy sweaters. Oh my God, maybe 67:21 a little cottage where we can escape for a little weekend. That's what I love about 67:25 booking a home on Airbnb. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or your partner, 67:29 everyone has space to relax while still being together. Even if you're traveling for a concert 67:34 or game, you have one place where everyone can get together and convene after. Before the holiday 67:41 season gets busy, treat yourself to one more fall getaway and check out Airbnb while you're planning 67:46 it. Call Her Daddy is brought to you by American Eagle. Okay. She doesn't have a really mean bone in her body. 68:38 And that's what I like about her kindness and her empathy and sympathy for people in general. 68:45 Oh, Sonia, what is Luan's best quality as a friend? 68:49 She's always there for me when I need her. 68:51 I always call her when I need her for something that I know she can handle because she's been through it as well 68:57 So remember when I took down the portrait of my husband. It was hard for me and you were there 69:00 We buried the dog. We had to pick up no one dog 69:03 I have he was hit by a car and for three months. He was in rehab 69:07 And she came with me all the way out to Long Island to pick up the dog 69:10 I was shaking I was shaking and 69:14 Yeah, you came for the funeral. In fact, he's still with us. Yeah, I just blew up my nemesis 69:18 We just did the, the ashes. 69:21 Remember that scene? 69:22 On the show, we put the ashes of Milu, 69:26 was it Milu in the East River. 69:29 And when Sonia went to put the ashes in the river, 69:32 they all blew in our faces. 69:33 Do you remember that moment? 69:33 I do remember that. 69:34 So we have Milu in our noses still. 69:37 On you forever, in you forever. 69:39 When you look back, what is the biggest difference 69:42 between who you were in season one of Rowney 69:45 and who you are today on The Golden Life? Each of you answer. 69:52 You know, the biggest difference is, I think that we built such a confidence over the years in terms 69:58 of, you know, we've had to have a thick skin, you know, putting our lives out there, the ups 70:03 and the downs and the all-arounds and, you know, and we really put ourselves out there, 70:07 and I think that, you know, it is made as strong as women. We, you know, we've been 70:13 through divorce and, you know, and through boyfriends and through 70:18 heartbreak, you know, in so many ways and, you know, and we've 70:22 been there for each other. And I think that, you know, I've 70:25 grown after all this time a lot in terms of, you know, from 70:29 when I started, you know, I was married into the count and, 70:33 you know, I had that to protect, right? And then I had to 70:36 protect the second marriage as well. And then I, you know,
