Ohio makes sure Ohio State won't fall behind in NIL recruiting, but what took so long?
Ohio is introducing legislation to allow college athletes in the state to make money off their name, image and likeness. Nathan Baird and Doug Lesmerises asked questions at the news conference Monday to announce it, and then came back and recorded this Buckeye Talk episode about why it’s happening now and what it means for Ohio State sports. This bill will definitely pass, and then Ohio State will be in the same shape as schools like Alabama and Florida that already had legislation passed in their state.
