Palano Shines with Two Picks | Boston College Football News

Anthony Palano just lit up the ACC with a career-defining performance, earning Linebacker of the Week honors after a monster game against Rutgers — nine tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, and two game-changing interceptions, including the clutch fourth-quarter pick that sealed the Eagles’ 28-21 win. His breakout play came with under two minutes left, stopping Rutgers’ drive and cementing his status as Boston College’s defensive cornerstone. Already leading the team in tackles and named a captain before kickoff, Palano’s impact is undeniable — he’s now the first BC player since last year to snag multiple interceptions in a single game. With four total turnovers forced and key stops on fourth down, the defense was locked in. Now, he’ll look to keep rolling as Boston College hosts Maine this Saturday at 2 PM.
