Instant Analysis: No 12 Notre Dame 25, Boston College 10

Boston College football faced Notre Dame in a closely contested Holy War, with the Eagles starting redshirt sophomore quarterback Dylan Lonergan. After a slow start, Lonergan was replaced by Grayson James, who threw for 240 yards and a touchdown but also had two interceptions. The Eagles' ground game struggled, but wide receivers Lewis Bond and Jaedn Skeete combined for 165 receiving yards. The defense played well, with Daveon Crouch returning and Omar Thornton leading with nine tackles and a forced fumble. Despite keeping it close, a 94-yard touchdown run by Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love sealed the 25-10 victory. Boston College's record now stands at 1-8, with three remaining games in the 2025 season.
