Boston College stunned Rutgers 28-21 in a gritty, high-stakes Red Bandanna Game, with Mason McKenzie delivering a dazzling performance—throwing for 250+ yards and a 78-yard TD, plus a rushing score. The win came with heart, as linebacker Bodie Kahoun was carted off after a scary hit but later confirmed to have full movement, prompting the Eagles to dedicate the victory to him. Despite trailing at halftime, Rutgers’ rookie QB AJ Surace threw three TDs and rallied late, but a clutch interception sealed the win. Celebrating Welles Crowther’s legacy, this victory felt extra meaningful—and both teams are primed for their next challenges.
