Hour 1 – RIP Larry Brooks, Aaron Glenn’s Outburst & Jameis Fired Up for NYC

Boomer & Gio open Hour 1 with a tribute to beloved New York hockey writer Larry Brooks after his passing. The conversation shifts to Aaron Glenn’s tense behavior with the media tactic or attitude? Jerry Recco checks in with his first update, featuring Mike Kafka addressing the media as interim head coach, Brian Burns on whether he let Brian Daboll down, and Jameis Winston amped to be QB in “the greatest city in the world.” The hour also covers Russell Wilson’s response to being demoted, AJ Brown telling fantasy owners to drop him on Twitch, and Nick Sirianni reacting to the fallout. Plus, the Knicks lose at home as Jalen Brunson lands in a walking boot, Scott Boras drops his latest Alonso alliteration, and the station promo tees up Giants/Packers with an old-school “meet and beat.”
