The Firm

Introduce The Firm, a novel centered around Mitch McDeere, a promising Harvard Law graduate recruited by a secretive Memphis tax firm, Bendini, Lambert & Locke. Mitch is lured by an extravagant salary, luxury perks, and a low-interest mortgage, unaware the firm is deeply entangled with the Morolto crime family and money laundering. As he begins his intense 90-hour work weeks, the suspicious deaths of former associates and an FBI investigation force Mitch to uncover the firm's true nature, realizing his life, and those of his family, are in danger if he attempts to leave. The narrative follows Mitch and his wife Abby as they navigate espionage, betrayal, and a desperate escape from both the mob and the FBI, relying on Mitch's cunning and Abby's resourcefulness to survive.
